On Splinterlands, **time is marked by seasons** that last approximately 15 days. There is less than a day left until the end of the current season, season 167. Season 167 ended a few hours ago, and season 168 has begun, which will end in 15 days and 15 hours.  In this post, I share my analysis of the results and rewards I achieved playing in season 167. At the beginning of season 167, I had set two goals: - to reach at least Diamond III league in the Modern Format - to play consistently in the Gold leagues of the Frontier Format I achieved half of my goals at the beginning of the season because in the Frontier Format I finished the season in Gold III league, where I played throughout the season = goal achieved!  In the Modern Format, I finished the season in the Gold I league with a rating of 2600 points, 200 points away from the Diamond III league = goal not achieved!  Between Modern Format and Frontier Format, I played a total of 629 battles in season 167. Frontier Format and Modern Format are my favorite formats in Ranked Play In Modern Format, I “stalled” in Gold I league, taking steps forward and backward without getting very close to Diamond III league. However, I am happy to have reached 21st place in the Modern Format Gold leaderboard, which allowed me to receive 50K GLINT as an end-of-season reward.  I am very interested in GLINT rewards because, after completing the upgrade of common and rare reward rebellion soulbound cards, I would also like to complete the upgrade of epic cards. Today I spent 112,500 GLINT to purchase 15 EPIC DRAWS.  In the following images, you can see the cards I found.   Thanks to the cards I found in the epic draws, I was able to make a very interesting upgrade that I think will be very useful in battle. Today I upgraded **Olivia of the Brook: level 4 -> level 5**  Olivia of the Brook is a card I really like and use often in battle, and now that she has gained an extra melee attack point, I will use her even more!  I've made progress in upgrading all my epic reward cards, but I don't have any max-level epic cards yet, even though I'm very close to completing the upgrades for: - **Thanalorian Blade**: I'm 2 copies short of max level - **Kha'zi Conjurer**: I'm 3 copies short of max level - **Halfling Refugee**: I'm 3 copies short of max level   https://www.splintercards.com/tool-reward-soulbound.html?a=libertycrypto27&e=rbs Today I also made another interesting upgrade: **Sergeant Grauzral: level 1 -> level 2**  In the current season, I will have two higher-level cards available to try to reach Diamond III league in Modern Format. As for game rewards, in season 167 I earned a total of **849.52 SPS**. So **my total seasonal balance was positive** because: - I earned **849.52 SPS** - I spent 224.46 DEC = **20.14 SPS**  https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap?input=SPS&output=DEC This season, I have **three main goals**: - Reach the **Diamond III league** in Modern Format - Reach the **Gold II** league in Frontier Format - Play at least **one tournament** I haven't played in a tournament for a long time and I would like to start playing in this game mode again, partly because new and positive rules have recently been introduced in tournaments and I want to see the impact of these rules on this game mode.  https://splinterlands.com/tournaments I conclude this post by showing a battle in which I used **Olivia of the Brook, level 5**, for the first time. In the battle, which you can see by clicking on the next link, I had **39 mana available** and the battle rules were: **Need for Speed, Tis but Scratches**, and **Target Practice**. For example, I placed Olivia of the Brook in fifth position to protect her and put Janni Rebel in fourth position. Due to the Target Practice battle rule, Janni Rebel was the card most attacked by the opponent's magic attack and ranged attack cards, and I chose Janni Rebel because she has a lot of health points.  My strategy worked and I won the battle.  Olivia of the Brook started the battle with 5 abilities and ended the battle still alive with 8 abilities and a melee attack of 5 points.  My new season in the Modern Format has started well with 4 battles played and 3 wins, but I still have many battles to play.
