In Splinterlands Ranked Play, season 158 is underway and will end in 2 days and 16 hours.  This end of the season will be different than previous seasons because in 20 hours and 26 minutes the General Sale of the new set of Conclave Arcana cards will begin.  With the start of the Conclave Arcana general sale the cards of the Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers sets can no longer be used in the Modern Format and in their place the new Conclave Arcana cards can be used.  In the Wild Format all cards of all sets can be used but in the Wild Format there are bots and there are battle Helpers and there is also a seasonal cost of 2000 DEC to pay which is called Wild Pass.  I have always preferred to play in the Modern Format because I only have fun if I know I am playing with human players like me but from next season I will also play in the Wild Format Regarding the Wild Format there is an interesting and recent announcement that will make all players who play in the Wild Format happy and will also make me happy because starting next season I will play as always in the Modern Format with my main account but I will also resume playing in the Wild Format with my curation account for SPT tokens. The recent news is that **for next season and only next season the Wild Pass will be deactivated in the Wild Format**.   Before the start of the Conclave Arcana General Sale I will try to use all my energy points to play as many battles in the Modern Format with my Chaos Legion cards before I can no longer use them in my favorite format. In this post I will share a session of mine playing in the Modern Format and I will write this post contextually with my game activity alternating between playing and writing phases. My **starting point** before starting my game session is: - **League: Diamond II** (Modern Format) - **Rating: 3260** - **Available Energy: 50** - **My Glint Balance: 31716.8 Glint** - **Season End Loot: 46826 Glint** - **Rank: 334** (Champion Leaderboard) - **Total Battles: 165** - **Total Wins: 82**  In Modern Format I play with two accounts (libertycrypto27 and libertygame27) but in this post I show you the game activity of my main account which has the strongest card collection in battles compared to the other account. With @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format: - I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of **639 cards = 28135 BCX = 604865 CP = 3189.21$ Market Value** (using Market Prices).  - I have a **SPS stake =** 135.9K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = **85.9K effective**  - **I do not rent cards** from the market and only use cards I own I start my game session with a battle in which I cannot use magic attack cards. **First Battle**: **35 mana** available - **Battle Rule**: Lost Magic.
