**Fuffi lives in a silent world because he is deaf**. When we discovered that Fuffi was deaf, we wondered how we would communicate with him, but he gave us the answer, day after day, with his vitality and sweetness. He cannot hear sounds, but he **“listens” to everything** because he **carefully observes the world around him** and perceives the vibrations of our footsteps. Fuffi is a kitten who was abandoned by his mother when he was just a few days old and whom we found during a weekend at the beach. I also have two older cats, Cuki and Mia, who get scared when they hear a loud noise, while Fuffi gets scared when he is touched suddenly. For this reason, I always try to give him a gentle stroke before picking him up or when he hasn't seen me yet. After we found him, Fuffi successfully got through the critical week indicated by the vet and **has given us so much love**. Perhaps because he was found about 10 days after birth, he immediately showed a strong attachment to us. Unlike my other two cats, who have long periods when they are on their own, **Fuffi constantly wants us humans around**: - he wants to sleep near us - he follows us everywhere, especially me When he learned to climb onto my desk, he often preferred the hard surface of my monitor or the edge of my keyboard as a pillow, just to be as close to me as possible. He often wants to “help” me write posts on Hive, so if you ever find strange or incomprehensible words in my posts, they may have been written by Fuffi :)  Fuffi is not only affectionate, he is also very playful and... has a somewhat unusual passion for a cat: **he loves water**! We discovered this passion of his when he climbed onto the kitchen table and knocked over the water jug. The noise made me run to the kitchen, where I found Fuffi sitting impassively on a chair while drops of water falling from the table wet his head. If we leave the tap running, he sticks his head under it and tries to catch the water with his paw. The sink is one of his favorite places, which my wife is not very happy about... In the next photo, you can see Fuffi looking at me, knowing that I'm about to pick him up and take him away from the sink :)  My daughter's toy kitchen sink is also one of his favorite places :)  If I forget to close the bathroom door and lift the toilet lid, I find him sitting on the edge of the toilet waiting for the flush to be activated. ||| |-|-| In short, he is not afraid of water but is strongly attracted to it and drinks much more water than my other two cats. Fuffi is now four months old and, besides being a tireless player, he is also very athletic and reckless, and the next photo shows all his agility.    Another distinctive feature of Fuffi is his eyes.
