This weekend I went with my cousins to Portales beach in Valparaiso. We decided to go out to enjoy the sea, since the weather was quite nice for winter. Although it wasn't hot, it wasn't too cold either, so we took advantage of those four hours to walk along the shore, get some fresh air and relax with the sound of the waves. We brought some sandwiches prepared from home to have a little picnic in front of the sea, which added a special touch to the outing. We laughed, talked and just enjoyed the moment together. To make the experience even more entertaining, we took the subway there and back, which allowed us to see the scenery along the way without worrying about driving or parking. It was a simple, but very meaningful getaway, one of those that recharged our spirits and strengthened the bonds with the family. No doubt we will repeat such an outing soon.

Este fin de semana fui con mis primos a la playa Portales, en Valparaíso. Decidimos salir a disfrutar del mar, ya que el clima estaba bastante agradable para ser invierno. Aunque no hacía calor, el frío tampoco se sentía tanto, así que aprovechamos esas cuatro horas para caminar por la orilla, tomar aire fresco y relajarnos con el sonido de las olas. Llevamos unos sándwiches preparados desde casa para hacer un pequeño picnic frente al mar, lo que le dio un toque especial a la salida. Reímos, conversamos y simplemente disfrutamos el momento juntos. Para hacer la experiencia aún más entretenida, fuimos y volvimos en metro, lo que nos permitió ver los paisajes del trayecto sin preocuparnos por manejar ni estacionar. Fue una escapada simple, pero muy significativa, de esas que recargan el ánimo y fortalecen los lazos con la familia. Sin duda, repetiremos pronto una salida así.
