¡Hola, amigos de Hive Cuba!
Hoy escribo con alegría para compartirles un momento especial que vivimos ayer algunos Hivers en los jardines del Hotel Nacional. Aunque este año tuvimos que suspender nuestro encuentro anual por razones ajenas a nosotros, la comunidad cubana de Hive sigue pisando fuerte, y este pequeño tope fue prueba de ello.
Cada año esperamos con ansias ese gran evento que nos reúne, y aunque esta vez no fue como soñábamos, hicimos un tiempo y nos reunimos para compartir ideas y experiencias. Lo mejor fue ver cómo la comunidad cubana en Hive sigue creciendo. Antes conocía a todos los usuarios, pero ahora somos tantos, de tantos rincones del país, que me resulta imposible seguirles la pista. Si aún no sigo a alguien, dejen su nombre de usuario en los comentarios. Este mar de Hive es inmenso, y el día a día a veces nos agobia, pero siempre hay espacio para conectar.

Today I'm writing with joy to share a special moment that some Hivers experienced yesterday in the gardens of the Hotel Nacional. Although this year we had to cancel our annual meeting for reasons beyond our control, the Cuban Hive community is still going strong, and this small gathering was proof of that.*

Ayer conocí a un grupo de jóvenes de Santiago de Cuba que vinieron hasta La Habana, ¡qué alegría verlos! Nuestro querido @manuphotos , siempre al frente, ya nos había compartido las conferencias online con el material del evento, y en este encuentro nos entregó pulóveres, gorras y stickers. Aquí les dejo una foto que nos tomamos @jordy0827 y @saraleo con nuestras gorras, que están preciosas.

Pasamos un rato revitalizador en esos jardines espectaculares, donde la vista se funde con el horizonte marino y el aire salino es exquisito. El lugar era acogedor, y la compañía también. Cada quien pidió algo para refrescar y compartir; yo me tomé una deliciosa malta Bucanero con bastante hielito… ¡una delicia!
*We spent a revitalizing time in those spectacular gardens, where the view blends with the ocean horizon and the salty air is exquisite. The place was cozy, and so was the company. Everyone ordered something to refresh and share; I had a delicious Bucanero malt with plenty of ice... a delight!*
