Hello guys good evening how are you guys doing I'm back again to share my special recipe and this is called wateryam cake. Okay so before we start this is a very delicious recipe that we usually enjoy in Nigeria and it is mostly made with cassava, cocoyam or even the white yam but today we are going with wateryam and below I'm going to list all the few ingredients I used for it and I'll tell you what, it turned out very delicious and we're going to enjoy the process so stay tuned!
Ingredients
- Half tuber of yam
- 2 tablespoons ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup of palm oil for frying
To start I peeled my yam and cut them into smaller pieces
Next I grated the yam and it turned into a paste
This below is how it looked after grating
After that I slice the onions and set aside
I put the onions in the mortar with the pepper and pound to paste.
Then mix the onions paste with the yam paste properly
Then I put the oil in my heated pot. Ready to fry.
Then I was putting each pieces in the oil to fry
I let it fry till golden brown. And after that it was ready to be served!
Conclusion
