Friends, today I wanted to share with you some good impressions... I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate my compatriots and those who support Ukraine on Independence Day, which we celebrated on August 24. We are currently living in incredibly difficult times. The war has destroyed a large part of our territories... Many Ukrainians, both military and civilian, have died and continue to die in this unnamed war. However, such pages have already been in our history more than once. Ukrainians are very resilient. Therefore, I want to wish us victory over russia and strength of spirit. We will survive again.
Друзі, сьогодні хотіла поділитися з вами гарними враженнями... При нагоді хочу привітати також моїх співвітчизників і тих, хто вболіває за Україну з днем Незалежності, який святкували 24 серпня. Зараз живемо у неймовірно важкий час. Війна зруйнувала велику частину наших територій... Чимало українців і військових, і цивільних загинули і продовжують гинути у цій неназваній війні. Проте такі сторінки вже були в нашій історії не раз. Українці дуже живучі. Тому хочу побажати нам швидшої перемоги і сили духу. Виживем знов. Тут потрібна лише допомога вищих сил. Бо світу вже давно ця війна не цікава.
But now about the pleasant. I haven't been traveling much lately. Financial problems and my mini-shelter with homeless cats don't allow me to do so. But last week I unexpectedly went to a wonderful cozy city in my region, namely Ivano-Frankivsk, to take a kitten to its new home. I think everything is great! People are responsible and love animals. I coped with the task quite quickly and still had free time before the evening train. So, I decided to combine business with pleasure and take a little walk around the city... I've already been here and walked through the city, about 2010... I'll tell you about the beautiful architecture of the city next time. And this time my attention was drawn to the reservoirs on the map, in particular a rather large lake, so I wanted to be closer to nature.
Але тепер про приємне. Останнім часом мало подорожую. Фінансові проблеми і мій міні-притулок з бездомними котами не дають такої змоги. Та минулого тижня неочікувано поїхала в чудове затишне місто мого регіону, а саме Івано-Франківськ, щоб відвезти в сім'ю кошеня. Думаю, в малої все чудово! Люди відповідальні і люблять тварин. Я доволі швидко справилась із завданням та ще мала час до вечірнього поїзда. Отож, вирішила поєднати приємне з корисним і трохи прогулятись містом... У центрі цього красивого міста я вже колись гуляла (от треба пошукати чи були тут пости на цю тему!) Цього разу мою увагу привернули водойми на карті, зокрема досить велике озеро. Ура! Це те, що мені дуже потрібно!
Well, first of all, after getting off the bus, I stopped at the Shevchenko Park. The park is quite large and ancient. It was founded back in 1896 and was once named in honor of Empress Elizabeth, because this region was part of Austria-Hungary. And in general, a natural oak forest grew here several centuries ago... The territory of the park is quite large, about 25 ha, so it is difficult to get around it in one go. Unexpectedly for myself, I found myself in the kingdom of ancient trees! Oaks, beeches, willows, acacia... It immediately became easier to breathe... How I love nature!
Що ж, спочатку вийшовши з автобуса я опирилась в парку ім. Шевченка. Парк досить великий і старовинний. Він заснований ще у 1896 році і колись був названий на честь імператриці Єлизавети, бо цей регіон входив до Австро-Угорщини. А взагалі природній дубовий ліс ріс тут ще кілька століть тому... Територія парку доволі велика, біля 25 на, то ж за один раз його обійти важко. Неочікувано для себе я потрапила у царство старезних дерев! Дуби, буки, верби, навіть акація... Одразу стало легше дихати... Як я люблю природу!
This cozy restaurant seems to take us back in time... Once it was the residence of a rich man, an Armenian named Romashkan, and the area around it was his personal garden. But later the city bought the area from him to add it to the park... If I had more time, I would visit this establishment to feel the spirit of the ancient city, which was then called Stanislaviv.
Цей затишний ресторан ніби повертає нас в минуле... Колись це було житло багатої людини, вірменина Ромашкана, як і територія навколо була його особистим садом. Та згодом місто викупило в нього територію, щоб приєднати до парку... Якщо б у мене було більше часу, я б відвідала цей заклад, щоб відчути дух давнього міста, яке тоді звалось Станіславів.
Google Maps and my feet led me closer to the water... I wanted to find two small ponds. And here they are! It was a weekday, so among the visitors there were mothers with small children, teenagers, pensioners. There was peace here. Dozens of birds feel at home. Swans, ducks, the ubiquitous pigeons. People feed the birds...
Гугл-карта і ноги вели мене поближче до води... Хотіла знайти два невеликих ставки. І ось вони! Робочий день, тому серед відвідувачів мами з малими дітьми, підлітки, пенсіонери. Тут панує спокій. Десятки птахів відчувають себе як вдома. Лебеді, качки, всюдисущі голуби. Люди годують птахів... (Хоч це і заборонено).

In the distance, I was interested in a large and bizarre tree... Coming closer, I simply fell in love with it. Incredible roots, like patterns of fate... Every curl, knot, unevenness tells of past times. I didn't immediately understand what kind of tree it was, but judging by the leaves, it was a white acacia, or to be more precise, Robinia pseudoacacia. I sat nearby for a while. I gained strength. Selfies didn't work out, because I slept very little at night and was tired... That's why I'm not the main one here, but this giant and the print on my T-shirt! This is a map of a single sovereign, indivisible Ukraine. There is something symbolic in these photos. Our country is as old and resilient as this acacia.
Вдалині мене зацікавило крислате і химерне дерево... Підійшовши поближче, я в нього просто закохалась. Неймовірні корені, як візерунки долі... Кожен завиток, вузлик, нерівність розповідає про минулі часи. Я не одразу зрозуміла, який це вид, але судячи з листочків це акація біла. Трошки посиділа поруч. Набралась сили. Селфі не виходили, бо я дуже мало спала вночі... Тому тут не я головна, а цей гігант і принт на моїй футболці! Це карта єдиної суверенної, неподільної України. Щось символічне є в цих фото. Наша країна така ж стара і живуча, як ця акація.
Along with nature, I also managed to enjoy works of art. Very interesting, modern and cute sculptures decorate the pond. This is a forging technique! There are two elf girls: one draws water from the pond, the other flies somewhere with dandelion seeds... How elegant! By the way, inside the dandelion there is a light bulb on a solar battery, which charges during the day and shines at night. The work was done by a master from the currently occupied Berdyansk, Oleksandr Shaposhnyk, who evacuated here, together with students of the local lyceum. He brought a part of his soul here from the other end of the country. We dream that his city will be free from russian orcs.
Поряд з природою мені вдалося насолодитися і творами мистецтва. Дуже цікаві, сучасні і симпатичні скульптури прикрашають ставок. Це техніка ковки! Є дві дівчинки ельфи: одна черпає воду зі ставка, в інша кудись летить із насінням кульбаби... Як витончено! До речі всередині кульбаби є лампочка на сонячній батареї , яка вдень заряджається, а вночі світить. Роботу зробив майстер з окупованого нині Бердянська Олександр Шапошник, який сюди евакуювався, разом з учнями місцевого ліцею. Приніс сюди частину душі з іншого кінця країни. Мріємо, щоб його місто було вільним від орків-росіян.

Then, having bought a snack, I headed to the large lake, because there was not much time... The weather that day was changeable, and after lunch the sun finally hid behind gray clouds. It was windy over the large reservoir and small waves were moving on the water... It was amazing, the gray asphalt, water and sky seemed to merge into one whole... I felt that my soul was finally resting from worries. A little pleasure...
Далі купивши перекус, я попрямувала до великого озера, бо часу було не так і багато... То ж я побачила лише маленьку частину парку, на жаль. Погода в той день була мінлива, і після обіду сонце остаточно сховалося за сірими хмарами. Над великою водоймою було вітряно і невеликі хвильки йшли по воді... Дивовижно, асфальт, вода і небо ніби злились в одне ціле... Я відчувала, що нарешті моя душа відпочиває від турбот. Трошки насолоди...

I ate a little by the water, walked a little. I was glad for people who can also walk in these moments of peace. Many refugees left the war zone and settled in this city. There is a small pier with boats and catamarans, but that day was a day off... I hope to return here with good friends. Thank you for your hospitality, the charming city of Ivano-Frankivsk!
Трошки поїла над самою водою, трохи прогулялася... Пораділа за людей, що можуть теж погуляти в ці миті спокою. Чимало біженців виїхали з зони бойових дій у це місто. Тут є невеликий причал з човнами та катамаранами, але в той день був вихідний... Сподіваюся сюди повернутися із добрими друзями. Разом веселіше. Дякую за гостинність, чарівне місто Івано-Франківськ!
