I haven't been posting much music lately, I've not been feeling well emotionally and I haven't been able to find healthy ways to cope with that. However, the other day I was browsing through old files and came across this video, and I thought: okay, maaaybe this could be a better way to cope with all the feels that I'm having. It was a practise video me and @maerod recorded before a gig. Well, to be honest, it was more than a gig. Way more. My students' parents asked me to sing at their graduation given that I meant so much to them (and them to me) so I wanted to make sure I picked the right song. I wanted to make them cry (mwahaha) but also make them realise that just because their life was changing that didn't mean a bad thing. A few days before this invitation, I was talking to one of them who was really bummed because he was moving abroad (as much of them were) and he felt sad because they were his lifelong friends and suddenly he wasn't going to see them again, he was losing his friends. I told him he should try and look at it from another perspective, I said: Hey, actually you're winning a lot of places to stay all around the world. That made him smile and warmed my heart a bit. So I chose this song because it talks about friendship and not forgetting where you come from and where you are going. This is just a practise video, not the actual preformance on the graduation ceremony haha I had to pratise a lot to be able to sing the whole thing without crying hahaha
