Traditional anime of the healer of light / Drawing / (ENG/ESP)

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters, art lovers and artists, welcome to my post. It's been a while since I've done my weekly drawings in the community. The reason is because I've been so busy with moving and repairs that I haven't felt well enough mentally or physically to work on my drawings. So, during this time without drawing, I really wanted to do an anime-style drawing, not pixel art. So, I took the whole day to do this drawing. The number of layers I took was impressive. I'd say it's the most complicated drawing I've ever done, since the number of layers I took was a total of 138. So, next, I'll be sharing the creation process of this drawing. It's about the light healer, but in my medieval style. Although I've been thinking about working in a much more serious style, so we'll see that in my next post about my drawings. Tenía un buen tiempo que no realizaba mis dibujos semanales que hacia en la comunidad, la razón es porque he estado tan ocupado con mudanzas y arreglos, que no me he sentido bien mental y físicamente como para poder trabajar en mis dibujos, así que en este tiempo que tenía sin dibujar, me dieron muchas ganas de hacer un dibujo al estilo Anime, nada de Pixel Art, así que me tome el día entero para hacer este dibujo donde la cantidad de capas que me tomo fue impresionante, diría que es el dibujo más complicado que he hecho, ya que la cantidad de capas que me tomo fue un total de 138, así que a continuación, les estaré compartiendo el proceso de creación de este dibujo, tratándose del curador de la luz pero a mi estilo medieval, aunque he estado pensando en trabajar en un estilo mucho más serio, así que eso lo veremos en mi próxima publicación de mis dibujos.

To start my drawing, I first had something in mind, like making this character a little sinister, but the truth is that in the process the character became very tender, so I have to continue working on those details that I want to perfect and improve. I have already made traditional anime drawings, but when I entered the world of pixel art, I put them aside, since pixel art is much easier to work with compared to the traditional anime we know. So after this sketch, I used a different background color than the one I will use throughout the drawing. I used dark blue because if I made it black, I wouldn't be able to see my sketch, and if I left it transparent, since it is white, I wouldn't be able to appreciate my character's hair, since the color of the original image I am making a fan art of is white. >! [Spanish version] Para iniciar mi dibujo, primero tenía algo pensado como hacer que este personaje fuera un poco siniestro, pero la verdad es que en el proceso el personaje me quedo muy tierno, así que tengo que seguir trabajando en esos detalles en las que quiero perfeccionar y mejorar, ya he realizado dibujos animes tradicionales, solo que cuando entre en el mundo del pixel Art, los deje a un lado, ya que el pixel es mucho más fácil de trabajar en comparación al anime tradicional que conocemos.
Así que luego de este boceto, use un color de fondo diferente al que usaré en todo el dibujo, así que use el color azul oscuro, ya que si lo colocaba de negro, no pudiera ver mi boceto y si lo dejaba en transparente, como es blanco no pudiera apreciar el cabello de mi personaje, ya que el color que tiene la imagen original al cual le hago un fan art, el color de cabello es blanco.

Following the guidelines I made for the sketch, I began adding color to the entire structure of my character's hair, using the base color as white and then starting to add the details. With the base color, I dedicated myself to adding some strands of different colors to create a difference in the hair strands, some shades darker than others to give my drawing maximum volume. Honestly, this was the part of the entire drawing that took me the longest to complete, since both the hair and the eyes are what give drawings of this style that touch and make them look great. I continued working on the hair, even adding some yellow strands, since the original character has them. Additionally, I wanted to make her hair a little shorter to practice a new technique I had learned. I used much darker tones to give my character's hair more volume. >! [Spanish version] Siguiendo las líneas guías que hice para crear el boceto, comencé a agregarle color a toda la estructura del cabello de mi personaje, usando el color base como blanco para posteriormente comenzar a agregar los detalles.
Teniendo el color base, me dediqué a agregar algunos mechones de diferentes colores para poder crear una diferencia de mechones de cabello, unos tonos más oscuros que otro para poderle dar el máximo volumen a mi dibujo, y sinceramente, en todo el dibujo, fue la parte que más tiempo me tomo hacer, ya que tanto el cabello como los ojos, son los que le dan ese toque a los dibujos de este estilo y hacen que se vean geniales.
Continúe trabajando en el cabello agregando incluso algunos mechones de color amarillo, ya que el personaje original los tiene, adicionalmente quería hacer que su cabello fuera un poco más corto para poder en práctica una nueva técnica que había aprendido, use tonos muchos más oscuros para poder darle más volumen al cabello de mi personaje.

After working on the hair, I immediately moved on to the face, which was much easier than I thought, as I only had to play with the eye color, adding lighting and that glow that's so appealing in anime drawings of this style. I added small shading because I felt it looked much better as it was. The face ended up being that of a young boy. It wasn't what I had in mind, but I wanted to leave it that way to begin and resume my drawings. After finishing the face, I began the part that has taken up most of the layers of this drawing: the armor. As you may know, my obsession with medieval art, so I wanted to create the ideal outfit for him. >! [Spanish version] Después de trabajar en el área del cabello, acto seguido me dediqué en trabajar en el área del rostro, el cual fue mucho más fácil de lo que pensé, ya que tenía que jugar solamente con el color de los ojos, agregando la iluminación y ese brillo que atrae en los dibujos animes de este estilo, la agregue pequeños sombreados porque sentí que como estaba, se veía mucho mejor, y el rostro me quedo de un chico joven, no era lo que tenía en mente, pero lo quise dejar así para comenzar y retomar mis dibujos.
Al terminar con el rostro, comencé con la parte donde me ha llevado la gran mayoría de las capas de este dibujo, la armadura, como bien sabrán, mi obsesión con lo medieval, así que quería crearle un traje ideal.

Working with the first part of the shoulder pads, I wanted to create many yellow engravings, to give it more of a touch of light, which is what the character conveys. Of course, in this drawing I didn't want to blur the lines, since from a distance they look much better than when they are blurred. Next, I worked on the area of ​​the neck of the armor and placed some gems to give more originality to my character. >! [Spanish version] Trabajando con la primera parte de las hombreras, quise crear muchos grabados de color amarillo, para darle más toque de luz que es lo que trasmite el personaje, por supuesto, en este dibujo no quise difuminar las líneas, ya que desde lejos se ve mucho mejor que cuando están difuminados, seguidamente trabaje con él are del cuello de la armadura y colocando alguna gema para darle más originalidad a mi personaje.

This armor has a special engraving on the chest, which is the emblem this character has, as shared with us by the community moderators on Discord, so I used those images as a reference, which I'll be mentioning at the end of the post.
