Bienvenidos mis 60 años|Welcome to my 60th birthday

 ¡Hola usuarios! Ya llegué al sexto piso, puedo recordar a mi padre refiriéndose a ese nuevo peldaño que subimos al cumplir años. Mi padre aún vive, aunque está delicado de salud su ánimo y buen humor no se quebrantan. El día sábado arribé a mis sesenta años, algunos de mis conocidos saben de esa equivocación de alguna enfermera o profesional de la salud que se equivocó en mi fecha de nacimiento ya que en mi papeleta escribió que nací un veintidós de agosto, pienso que no sabía que cuando era de madrugada ya hacía su entrada una nueva fecha, también colocaron mi nombre con doble t; en fin, lo importante es que nací. Para no tener traumas celebro todo el mes de agosto y hasta todo el año mi bella vida. Siempre pienso que antes las personas no les hacían mucho caso a estos sucesos, bueno, en realidad antes me daba tristeza que nadie pudo arreglar ese error humano. Desde hace algunos años decidí muchos cambios, entre ellos colocar mi nombre y fecha en todo igual que aparece en mi cédula. >I've reached the sixth floor. I can remember my father referring to that new step we climb as we get older. My father is still alive, and although his health is delicate, his spirit and good humor remain unbroken. On Saturday, I turned sixty. Some of my acquaintances know about the mistake made by a nurse or healthcare professional who got my date of birth wrong, since on my birth certificate it says I was born on August 22. I think she didn't know that when it was dawn, a new date had already begun. They also spelled my name with a double “t.” Anyway, the important thing is that I was born. To avoid trauma, I celebrate my beautiful life throughout the month of August and even throughout the whole year. >I always think that people didn't pay much attention to these events in the past. Well, actually, it used to make me sad that no one could fix that human error. A few years ago, I decided to make many changes, including putting my name and date on everything as it appears on my ID card.  De igual manera la celebración no deja de ser bien especial, este año fue algo tranquilo, entre apagones de electricidad y una gran austeridad, pero con muchas ganas de seguir agradeciendo a Dios por tantas bendiciones recibidas. Desde primeras horas de la mañana comenzaron las felicitaciones, ese día en la universidad, pude exponer el tema sobre la educación ambiental, fue un gran momento donde mi pasión por el tema se desbordó. Estuvimos compartiendo nuestros conocimientos con un ambiente fresco, se logró el objetivo concientizar a los asistentes, siempre con la dirección del sentir y pensar del gran precursor y defensor del ambiente nuestro Simón Rodríguez. >The celebration was still very special, although this year it was somewhat subdued, with power outages and austerity measures, but we were eager to continue thanking God for so many blessings. The congratulations began early in the morning. That day at the university, I was able to present on the topic of environmental education. It was a great moment where my passion for the subject overflowed. We shared our knowledge in a refreshing atmosphere and achieved our goal of raising awareness among the attendees, always guided by the feelings and thoughts of the great pioneer and defender of the environment, Simón Rodríguez.      El día siguió avanzando, llegó el momento de compartir en familia. Mi hija, mis nietos y mi yerno fueron por mí a la universidad. Luego hicimos una comida bien exquisita que pedimos cuando vamos al restaurante familiar de la zona, pero esta vez hicimos ese platillo especial en nuestro hogar, quedó muy bueno. Mi hija que se encuentra en Chile también celebró con una paella junto a su esposo, gracias a la tecnología puedo sentir esa cercanía que me llena de alegría en estos momentos tan especiales. >The day went on, and it was time to share with my family. My daughter, my grandchildren, and my son-in-law picked me up from the university. Then we had a delicious meal that we usually order when we go to the local family restaurant, but this time we made that special dish at home, and it turned out very well. My daughter, who is in Chile, also celebrated with a paella with her husband. Thanks to technology, I can feel that closeness that fills me with joy in these special moments.   La alegría se mantuvo hasta el final, con mucho agradecimiento en mi corazón pude ver las bondades de nuestro padre creador, recibir la video llamada de mi hija me llena de mucha paz, saber que mis hijos están bien es motivo de mucha alegría. Llegó la noche y con ella la torta, pudimos cantar cumpleaños, disfrutar de una deliciosa y esponjosa torta, pidiendo muchos deseos todos desde mi alma, mucha salud que es la prioridad para seguir avanzando. El día transcurrió entre felicitaciones, bendiciones, llamadas, audios, mensajitos y abrazos. >The joy lasted until the end. With much gratitude in my heart, I could see the goodness of our creator father. Receiving a video call from my daughter filled me with peace, knowing that my children are well is a source of great joy. Night fell and with it came the cake. We sang “Happy Birthday” and enjoyed a delicious, fluffy cake, making many wishes from the bottom of my heart, especially for good health, which is the priority for moving forward. The day passed amid congratulations, blessings, phone calls, audio messages, text messages, and hugs.  ¡Qué bueno es celebrar en familia! Luego el servicio eléctrico falló, me fui al apartamento de mi hija, estuvimos conversando y disfrutando de la energía inagotable de mis nietos hasta ver como caían rendidos en su cama. El día terminó, pero sigo celebrando la vida cada día con mi mejor disposición y disponibilidad. >How wonderful it is to celebrate with family! Then the power went out, so I went to my daughter's apartment, where we talked and enjoyed the boundless energy of my grandchildren until they fell asleep in their beds.
