I've tried to write this post three times. Here I go again. Four days ago, I had an experience I'd never had before. My neighbor is a woman who lives alone. She believes in everything related to the universe, the stars, the moon—in short, she believes in everything except the Bible. On August 11 of this year, a portal was supposed to open, but I don't really know anything about this subject.
On Monday, my neighbor knocked on my door with a big smile and said, “You know what's going to happen in the sky today?” I told her I really didn't know. The planets are going to align, Neptune, Jupiter, and Saturn are going to dance with Venus. I have great affection for my neighbor; she lives alone. I told her I would go to her house, and she agreed to buy three beers since another neighbor would be joining us. It was a bit late for me since I try to go to bed early, but not to get up early. I don't have many tasks to do early in the morning anymore, so I do it to enjoy the tranquility and peace that accompanies me.
So what I did at that moment was something I never thought I would ever do. This week, our friend @galenkp invites us to share our experiences with one of his suggestions. I did it to support my neighbor, to accompany her for a while, but I truly believe that saying the Lord's Prayer and talking to our Creator is enough. However, I felt that my neighbor needed this unconditional support.
The moment I took a shower, it started to rain. It was nine o'clock at night, and our appointment was at eleven. I'm not one to go out in the rain at all. After COVID, I became very sensitive to the cold night air. I arrived at the appointed time. My neighbor, Casta Rafaela Monasterio León, was waiting for me with beers ready. After explaining many of her beliefs to me, we went out in the drizzle, but really, I let her do the ritual in the rain while I stayed under the doorway.
I was ready to give it my all, listening and trying to participate in a fun way. It was time to dance, it stopped raining, I hesitated to look up at the sky, but my neighbor made sure I stayed alert. I didn't see anything, but she told me, “It doesn't matter if we don't see anything, let's use our imagination.” I was moved by her faith. She told me that many blessings were coming, that it was a great opportunity to ask for things, so I asked for the health of the whole world. I think that with health, many things can be achieved.
What happened was like the opening of a door or window to another dimension. I didn't feel nervous or worried. I have great respect for human beings. I try to share experiences that take me out of my comfort zone, but without going too far. I like to hear about these phenomena, but I am always very cautious. My beliefs are not that lofty. I don't worry or feel anxious about these scientific processes, these portals... I love being at peace. It's always good to be informed about these events without getting alarmed.
We stayed up until one in the morning for that ritual. My neighbor took the opportunity to send her daughter a happy birthday message, and I managed to stay awake until that hour. There wasn't a soul on the street. Many blessings for the world. All my respect for the sky, the stars, the planets, and all the celestial bodies.
