We woke up to snow, and were expecting about 7 inches today. School was cancelled -- our first snow day of the year! Though we were expecting snow, I was surprised that my daughter had off school. I didn't have much planned for the day. We decided to make a snowball game with some cardboard I saved from a large package. It turned out to be a little too windy for the game outside, but we also used it as an indoor game. It was also a great creative project for us to work on together. Check out the steps below on how we created our snow day game.

Materials:

  • Large piece of cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Black Marker
  • Knife/Scissors
  • Round objects (for tracing)
  • Crayons
