Good afternoon, Liketu friends! I hope you're all doing great. Today I'm here to tell you about an “end of season” celebration with my friends from the murga. The truth is that for this type of celebration we usually use photos from our cell phones, but during Carnival we had been playing around with a Nikon Coolpix S3700, and although its quality leaves a lot to be desired, it has that old-fashioned, fun feel to it, and anyone can easily pick up the camera and take a picture. So some of the photos accompanying this post are from that Nikon, and others are from cell phones. Well, I go to the capital because I live far away, but we take a bus to a huge club with courts, lots of parkland, tables, barbecues, etc. All the amenities for a day of picnicking and relaxing. I think these types of clubs were very popular in the past, and surely in summer and high season they must be full of people. We had a beautiful afternoon to enjoy and took advantage of it to sunbathe, eat some barbecue, drink a little of everything, play cards, drink mate, and eat pastries.Of course, there was no shortage of soccer games, naps in the shade of trees, hide-and-seek for the little ones, a bit of murga music, and a game of truco just as the sun was setting and the afternoon's tiebreaker was decided. We return to the capital, some sleeping, others singing soft songs accompanied by the guitar. There is a feeling of camaraderie, and I think that the eternal aroma of these afternoons, as if they were the symbolic conclusion of a great team effort, deserve a special place in my memory. Buenas tardes amigos de Liketu! Espero que se encuentren genial, vengo a contarles hoy un festejo de “fin de temporada” con mis amigos de la murga. La verdad es que para este tipo de festejo solemos usar fotografías de los teléfonos celulares, pero durante carnaval habíamos estado jugando con una Nikon Coolpix S3700 y aunque su calidad deja mucho que desear, tienen ese toque antiguo y divertido, y la facilidad para cualquier persona de tomar la cámara y retratar algo. Así que algunas fotos que acompañan este post son de esa Nikon, y otras de teléfonos celulares. Bueno, yo me acerco a capital porque vivo lejos, pero nos encomendamos en un micro hasta un club enorme con canchas, mucho parque, mesas, parrillas, etc. Todas las comodidades para un día de picnic y descanso. Creo que este tipo de clubes fueron muy famosos en el pasado, y seguramente en verano y temporada alta deben estar llenos de gente, a nosotros nos dio una tarde hermosa que disfrutar y aprovechamos para tomar sol, comer algo asado, beber un poco de todo, jugar cartas, tomar mates y comer facturas. Por supuesto no faltó el partido de fútbol, la siesta a la sombra del árbol, las escondidas de los más pequeños, un poco de murga y un final de partido de truco justo cuando caía el sol y se definía el desempate de toda la tarde. Volvemos a capital, algunos durmiendo, otros cantando canciones suaves acompañadas por la guitarra, se respira compañerismo y pienso que el aroma eterno que tienen estas tardes, como si fuesen el simbólico cierre de un gran trabajo en equipo, merecen un lugar aparte en mi memoria.
