Chit chat Friday - waxing crescent moon evening stroll

It's true, when you're enjoy yourself it's very easy to lose track of time. I totally forgot ~~today~~ yesterday was Friday and missed my Chit Chat Friday post. Not to worry, I have a bonus edition for you. Let's see if you can guess where I am and let me know which is your favourite photo, I'm pretty chuffed with them ☺️

It all started with this delicious plate of steak for dinner this evening. This is a Simmental 8 year old beef rib steak, breed in Germany and aged for 60 days. It has quite a good marble content and a very intense flavour. Definitely one of the best steaks I've had after wagyu beef. I was so full after dinner and decided to walk the 2.5km back to my hotel. 1000038452.jpg

The moon was beautiful. It's called the waxing crescent, if you can spot it in the photos. On this beautiful night, the reflection of the lights along the promenade dropped onto the Nervión River, like sprinkles of gold dust on the water. 1000038479.jpg

I crossed to the other side of the river over the Zibuzuri Bridge. Zibuzuri means "white bridge", the locals are very proud of their own language. The Zibuzuri is a lovely bridge, I love structures that have a flow. The floor felt odd was as I walked across, like I was walking on loose carpet. It turns out the original design had glass blocks floor and pedestrians could see through the bottom. When this became too slippery and dangerous, the city council decided to cover the glass blocks with carpet. It solved the problem, but I think it could have been done much better so visitors wouldn't feel the after thought. 1000038483.jpg

There are many interesting artwork along the promenade, but I think the most interesting thing for me is always taking photos of people taking photos. 1000038490.jpg

Another bridge, this one more grander. They say this is the gateway to culture. 1000038496.jpg

Do you know where I am now? This is undoubtedly the most famous and loved spider in the city. Isn't she a beauty! Luckily it can't crawl around, imagine such a monster spider inside your home!! 1000038492.jpg

I continued my stroll along the river, outside the museum. It has been too hot to admire this magnificent piece of architecture during the day. Now is the perfect time to marvel at this must visit, world famous museum in the city. 1000038503.jpg

And finally, I found Puppy. If you're scared of spiders, you cannot not love Puppy. 1000038507.jpg

Thank you Mr Guggenheim for such a lovely stroll.

I'm writing this as a Chit Chat Friday series of post with the objective of driving up engagement and communication on Hive. The content will evolve around daily life things making it easy for everyone to take part to engage with one another. Hopefully it will interest you to make genuine engagement instead of two word spams like "Nice photos" "Very beautiful" or calling bots. I will be muting those comments.
