Last year I did a post on 5 interesting communities that I found on Hive. It takes a lot of time and effort to run a successful community and it's great to see that out of those 5, 2 are thriving on Hive, great work @rlathulerie and @soyunasantacruz.
This year, I have come back with 4 more communities that I like a lot. If you are not aware of them, hopefully you will find them interesting and give them some support.
Ice Cream Creations

I think this is a very underrated community by @coolmidwestguy. Maybe because I like ice cream a lot (does anyone don't?) and think it deserves more attention. The community covers "the worlds variations of frozen desserts such as gelato, frozen yogurt, sherbet, sorbet, kulfi, snow cream, rolled ice cream and so many more." I didn't realise there are so many types of frozen desserts, like kulfi and snow cream I'm not familiar with. Need to ask my Snowpea to see if she knows what they are. When I was in Croatia for Hivefest recently, I noticed they have a lot of gelato stores everywhere, I literally had one everyday, and still haven't had a chance to post about it yet. This will be a good home for my post.
Horsepower Herd
https://peakd.com/c/hive-100736/created
Recently I came across a new community called Horsepower Herd run by the self acclaimed motorhead adrenaline junkie @technicalside. The community may sound a little confused for some on exactly what it's all about. It took me a little while to connect till I remember horsepower is often used to refer to the power of a car engine!! However, the community is more than just cars. It's for anything related to something that generates horsepower or HP ( how apt that is for Hive!!!).
The community isn't very active at the moment, which is a pity because many of us have a car or motor cycle or scooter, I'm sure there are some interesting stories to share. I've got one cooking, it's about how a guy tried to scam me three times one evening during a road traffic accident. I plan to publish it over the weekend, get your popcorn ready everyone, because it's going to be entertaining.
Food and Culture
https://peakd.com/c/hive-109139/created
Food is one of the biggest genre on Hive, after all everyone loves food. I love it especially more when there's a story behind it, that's why I think the Food and Culture Community by @akipponn is such a good concept. Most posts on Hive are about people making meals or baking cakes, or reviewing a restaurant, I've written them before, but to be honest there isn't much life in them. Food and culture goes very much hand in hand. Culture influences food just as much as food influences culture. When you understand the story and influence behind the food, you are experiencing more than just eating, it becomes a journey through time and place.
Hive Collectors
https://peakd.com/c/hive-180658/created
And finally, this is a very interesting community created by one of my good friends on Hive @mipiano. I probably don't visit it as much as I should because every time I visit the community, I find some very interesting things that people collect. Did you know somebody has 85 pairs of ear rings? And someone collects death anniversary cards? Each month @mipiano has a collection topic, last month was keychain, there isn't one for October yet. I think she's busy in real life. However, you can still post about anything you collect whenever you want.
Last and not the least, like last year, I'm going to do a shameless plus with some of my own communities. I need to spend more time on them this year, in particular the last one, more on that in future, when I'm ready.

I have set a 5% beneficiary to each of the 4 community owners above, and this is the first time I've tried out the CommentRewarder function. If you can let me know your thoughts on these communities, or some of your favourite ones that would be great.
