I literally escaped home and went with my cousin to travel to Tabogon. To be honest my dad didn't know where I would go, I just wanted to have a short trip with my cousin because I was just at home for a very long time, always planning trips and ending up not being able to. And when I got the chance, I instantly grabbed it. She told me about going to Tabogon to have some fun and about that orientation she wanted to attend and introduced me to that community ,which is the hive community.
When we traveled we just took a bus and relied on public transportation to go. The trip takes us almost 5 hours from Cebu city to Tabogon. When we arrived I was amazed by the place and its environment, the place and the peace I always dreamed of living in, a peaceful, clean and very nature-filled place. We got there and make “mano” to the elders that we traditionally do to show respect from our elders, it's from the Filipino culture, we all know that Filipinos are known for being hospitable,kind, happy, and respectful human beings because it is part of our culture, our behavior is unique that made us known for being a Filipino.
The house owners invited us to join them to eat the dinner they prepared. We happily joined them and talked with them about the things we wanted to know with each other. I was amazed by the food they made. They made grilled fish with its sauce to dip in to add more flavors to the fish. I forgot what kind of fish they grilled but I swear it was so delicious. The other food is called “swaki” in bisaya but i think it is like the sea urchin which has a yellow food on the inside and they mixed it with some seasonings and spicy flavors to make it more delicious and unique. I'm glad I was able to taste that there because to be honest I've never tried that food before(“swaki”) . I was late to know that it tasted good. After we ate we thanked the home owners for letting us join them for their dinner. I eated a lot so I'm kinda full so we talked about some other things before we slept.

The next they when we are about to take a bath we noticed that there is no flow of water that day, so we decided to bath in the spring they called “ulbo spring” when i heard the name of the said spring i got so excited because i was never tried swimming in a spring before, so we got there by riding a motorcycle. It was, I think, a kilometer away from the house. We arrived, and saw some people bathing there and some swimming and others washing Their clothes because they have unlimited water there in the spring. It's so nice to see those people living simply and happily. I finally jumped into the water and joined them swimming. I can see how happy and enjoyed the children jumping and swimming into the water, how nice to see that moment in them. I suddenly missed being a child playing around enjoying moments with other children that became my friends to share those child moments together. Then I took some pictures of me below the spring because I wanted them to enjoy not to stop having fun just because I wanted to take pictures of me alone, so I decided to take pictures below the spring. I love the way the trees cover us from the sun, it maintains the place in a cool temperature, and I can see how beautiful it is formed by God. All thanks to him for these wonderful places.
After bathing we headed home then we ate lunch together. Around 5pm we decided to go to thier city together and ate jian with his little toddler jacob. We've known that that day is the opening of lights for Christmas. So we watched the program and then enjoyed the beautiful lights they've decorated for Christmas. The theme is so nice, I saw an Alice and the Wonderland theme and some other fantasy themes with Their stunning decorations. I have met some people and enjoyed my trip there with them. I am happy that I've experienced a few things there that will be unforgettable memories I could share.
