Hello everyone! Hello to the wonderful people of @Bayanihive Community!
Today is another day of sharing with you my blog...
Last Tuesday, August 12, 2025 was one of the special day in my life because it was my bff’s 34th birthday. I already share a blog about her in my other post. I hope you can read that one too! My friend’s name was Cheryl Ann but I simply called her “Che”. We were friends for almost two decades now. And I am happy and thankful for the genuine friendship that we had.
I started my day by going to work before 8 a.m. I rode my electric bike and went straight ahead in the school where I am currently working as an administrative assistant. Che and I worked in the same school but she was in the teaching department since she was a Science teacher.
During our break time, she messaged me that she will be going to visit me in my office and we can have our early lunch together, and I agreed. Good thing was I brought with me the gift that I bought for her during my trip to the city last time. These were beautiful headbands from the Broadway Gems store, since she loves wearing them.
When she arrived at our office, I immediately brought out my gift and greeted her a happy birthday! She was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed by it. I even took a picture of her holding her gift.
After that, we had an early lunch at a nearby eatery just close to the school. We enjoyed our meal together while having a lively conversation about different things that made our lunch more enjoyable and memorable. After we finished eating, we headed back to the school feeling full and satisfied, ready to continue with the rest of our day’s tasks.
After a long and tiring day at school, before heading home, she told me that we should have dinner at Kapetera (a café shop near our houses) and that it would be her treat to me since it was her birthday, and I happily agreed.
We went together to Kapetera and ordered our favorite meals. We decided to have two servings of pork tonkatsu, a plate of crispy fries to share, a rich and creamy chocolate hazelnut latte, and a refreshing coffee jelly drink. The food was so delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it.
We also asked one of the staffs to take our picture so we could have a remembrance of that special moment.
We spent some time chatting about fun and happy moments, laughing over little stories and catching up about our daily lives, before we finally went home. I sincerely thanked her for the wonderful treat she gave me that day.
And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope you enjoy this post and I wish to see you on my next one! Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
