Hello everyone! Hello to the wonderful community of @asean.hive! It’s me again “LJ” and welcome to my blog! Today I will be sharing another life story to you all.
Last Saturday was one for the books. I went with my son Reygan and my sister-in-law to the “BINI” Concert for the Ibalong Festival(famous festival celebrated in Legazpi City, Albay). “BINI” is a popular P-pop (Philippine Pop) girl group made up of talented, all Filipina members. They’re known for their catchy songs, impressive dance performances, and their bright youthful vibe. A lot of fans see them as one of the groups helping bring P-pop to a bigger stage, kind of like the local version of K-pop girl groups but with a uniquely Filipino flavor.
Honestly, I was already looking forward to it the moment I woke up. Just the thought of seeing the girls live made me so giddy! We started preparing early because we knew the lines would be long. When we got there past 1 p.m., my guess was right!, the line was already super long! People were everywhere, and you could really feel the hype.
It wasn’t until around 4 p.m. that we finally got inside. And wow, the crowd was so alive! I couldn’t help but smile when I saw kids wearing BINI-inspired outfits, complete with accessories. Even some adults too! Everyone was just so happy and proud to show their love for the group. This was actually my second concert this year, the first was just last June when I watched the SB19, another famous P-pop group in the Philippines. Still the excitement felt fresh, like it was my very first time.
We went straight to the VIP Standing area and thankfully, managed to secure a decent spot where we could clearly see the stage and also had the LED screen close by. While waiting, Ebe Dancel performed together with the band Sugarfree. Their set brought some nostalgia to the fans, and I could see people swaying and singing along. It was a nice warm-up, but honestly, I was already counting down until BINI came out.
Finally, at around 9:30 p.m., the moment everyone was waiting arrived. The girls came on stage, and the entire venue erupted. People were screaming their biases’ names, waving light sticks, and raising banners. The energy was just incredible! I couldn’t stop cheering too! They were so beautiful, and their performances were on another level. You could really see how much effort they poured into every song and dance. The whole place was filled with so much joy, and I loved how the crowd and BINI connected throughout the show.
By 10:30 p.m., the concert ended, but my heart still so full. Instead of heading home right away, we decided to have a late dinner at a famous Tapsilogan nearby. Their food was super tasty, and with unlimited rice. It was exactly what we neede after all the jumping, cheering, and waiting. Eating together after the concert made the day even more special.
Looking back, the whole experience was worth every second. From lining up to finding our spot, to enjoying the performances, and even ending the night with good food. The BINI Concert wasn’t just an event, it was a memory I’ll carry with me for a long time.
And that’s it for today blog! Thank you for reading and see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
