Hello beautiful hivers! Hello wonderful people in @Family-Friends Community! Another day, another story to tell…
Today, I will share to you one of the special events in my life this year 2025
Last February 14, 2025, my husband came from home early and surprised me with box of chocolates and a heart-shaped pink balloon. She knows that unlike any other woman who loves to receive flowers during this kind of occasion, I prefer having chocolates because he knows that I am a sweet tooth…
I was in our room when he came, and when he showed me the chocolates and the balloon, my eyes go big and I jump in out of the bed to grab his gifts. I was so happy that time that I kissed and hugged him tightly. I thanked him and open some chocolates to eat. He knows that my favorite brand of chocolates was Ferrero and Toblerone. He also took some photos of me holding his gifts and he said I look lovely on the photos…
It was night already, we were getting ready for bed when he told me that he had another surprise for me and my son. I told him that the gifts he’d given me awhile ago were enough already for me. He said that I would love this another surprise he planned for me. And I asked him what was it? He leaned in close, brought his lips to my ear and whispered gently. “Tomorrow evening let’s have a dinner date together with our son.” What he said really touched me, so I hugged him.
The day finally came, and I started getting our outfits ready for our date night later. I picked a cream and red blouse paired with a skort (looks like a skirt from the front but at the back it has shorts for comfort and coverage). While I chose a Chinese collar type of polo and pants for my son.
Evening came, and we went to St. Ellis hotel for his surprise Post-Valentine’s dinner date together with our son. It was a buffet-style dinner with two female singers performing live on the stage. The place was filled with tables and most of them were already occupied by couples and families enjoying their date night.
There were plenty of food choices, and almost everything was delicious including the desserts and fruits. They even had a wine bar. My diet was ruined, we ate a lot! The singers were really good and some of the guests even got up and danced along to the music. We sang along with the music and enjoyed the entire evening.
The dinner date was truly enjoyable, even our son had a wonderful time as well. The three of us went home with full stomachs and happy hearts.
Before we went to sleep, I thanked my husband and told him how much I appreciated his effort in taking us out on date, the surprise, and for making this Valentine’s Day truly unforgettable…
