Hi everyone! Hello to my wonderful people of @bayanihive community! It’s me again “LJ’ and welcome to my blog! Today I will share to you another special event in my life...
This special event is my son’s 12th birthday celebration in his school. My son’s name is Reygan, he is our only son. Reygan is already in 7th grade, time flies so fast. I can still remember the day I gave birth to him.
My son’s birthday was last July 17, 2025 and it was a school day so we decided to have a simple celebration at his school. My son also told me few days ago before his birthday that he wishes to treat his classmates some snacks during their recess time in celebration of his birthday. My husband and I agreed to his wish! And he was so happy!
On my child’s birthday, my husband and I decided to make his special day extra memorable by buying his favorite food. I went to Jollibee and ordered some yum burgers. I also bought some refreshing juices and carefully packed everything to make sure it was ready to bring to his school on their break time.
Since my son mentioned days before that he wanted to celebrate with his classmates there in school, so we wanted to fulfill that wish. I ask for my brother’s help to carry the boxes to Reygan’s classroom. We are excited on the way, imagining the big smile on my son’s face as well as his classmates there. The joy of sharing his birthday meal with his friends, classmates and teachers was truly heartwarming.
When we entered their classroom, it was clear that the children had been eagerly waiting for us especially my son. Their faces were all lit up with joy and excitement. Their smiles were stretching from ear to ear and their eyes were sparkling with happiness. Even their teacher warmly welcomed us. She also made a greeting for Reygan and paste it to the black board. We opened the boxes and neatly arranged the burgers and juices on the table, making sure everything was ready for the kids to enjoy...
They all joyfully sang a birthday song for my son. Their voices filling the classroom with cheer and excitement. They also used the lights from their phones as makeshift candles since there was an unexpected brownout that time. The soft glow illuminated the happy faces of his friends, classmates, and their teacher, creating a warm and magical atmosphere. It was a simple yet unforgettable moment that made Reygan's simple celebration even more special and meaningful.
After that, when it was time to distribute the food, Reygan said that he also wanted to be the one to hand out the meals to his classmates. I told him, “Sure”, and he was so excited to go around, personally giving each of his friends their burger and juice. You could see the joy on his face as he handed them out, feeling proud and happy to share his special day with everyone. We left the classroom with kids and their teacher happily eating and chatting, making Reygan’s birthday extra special.
And that’s it for today’s blog, I hope you enjoy reading my story for the day! See you on my next one! Have a nice day ahead to all of us…
