Hello my dear hivers! Hello to the wonderful community of @hiveph! Another day, another blog. This is “LJ” and welcome to my life stories.
Today is Monday, and it truly feels like work mode once again. As early as dawn, my son and I were already up and preparing for the day. He had to get ready much earlier than usual because they were scheduled to join the parade for the “District Meet”. Since he is one of the Badminton Players representing his school, he was required to participate in the opening event. I could feel his excitement mixed with nervous energy while getting dressed, and as a mother, I couldn’t help but feel proud.
By around 7:30 in the morning, the parade has started. I made sure to be there even just for a while to watch him march along with his teammates. Seeing him with them, made me realize how quickly time flies.
From the little boy I used to send to preschool, now he is confidently walking as a student athlete. It was truly a heartwarming moment that I will always treasure. I silently whispered a prayer for his safety and hoped he would enjoy this whole experience.
Right after the parade, I had to rush to work. Upon arriving at school, I noticed that the sky was already turning gray. Not long after, the rain started to pour. At that moment, I thought to myself how lucky it was that the parade finished before the rain fell. If it had started any earlier, the kids would have been drenched and the parade would be ruined. Sometimes timing really works in our favor.
Once I got settled in my office, I began cleaning and arranging my table and sorting out the papers that had piled up from last week. While organizing, I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to bring back my laptop. I remembered that I took it home the last time before the typhoon arrived, just in case of power interruptions. With so much going on, I had completely left it at the house. It made me laugh a little at myself, but at the same time, I knew, I needed it for some tasks. Thankfully, most of the paperwok could still be managed without it for the meantime.
As usual, Monday meant diving into school responsibilities and making sure deadlines were met. Even though the rain outside made the atmosphere feel a bit sleepy, I kept myself focused on my duties. Mondays are always about setting the tone for the week. So I pushed myself to finish as much as I could.
By lunchtime, the rain eased a little, but the sky remained cloudy. The day may have started early and busy, but it was filled with moments that made me reflect on both my role as a mother and as a working individual. Truly, Mondays may be tiring, yet they also bring smal joys that brighten the week ahead.
And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you for reading and I hope you guys like it. See you on my next one! Have a nice day ahead to all of us.
