Hi my dear hivers! Hello to this wonderful community of @hiveph! This is me again, "LJ" and welcome to my blog where I share my experiences and life stories.
Yesterday felt extra special even though it was just an ordinary day. My husband came home from work for his two-day break, and as soon as he walked in, he asked me if I wanted to eat out. He suggested one of our favorite cafè's here in town, which is conveniently just a few steps away from our house. The cafe's name was "Kapetèra". It's always been one of our go-to spots, not only because of the delicious food but also because the place feels familiar and comforting.
This time, it was just the two us. Our son could not join since he was busy with his badminton training, and though I missed having him around, it was nice to enjoy some quiet time with my husband. On our way to the cafe, we passed by my bff's siomai cart and could not resist buying a few pieces to snack on. Her siomai is always a hit because it is homemade and full of flavors perfectly paired with her special sauce.
When we arrived at the cafe, the owner greeted us warmly, She's a close friend of my youngest brother, and that connection has always made dining there feel like visiting family. We settled on our usual orders which was silog meals and a plate of fries to share. While waiting, we chatted about work, our son's upcoming training schedule, and small plans for the next few weeks. The aroma of garlic rice and fried eggs soon filled the air, making me even more excited for the meal.
There's something more comforting about simple food shared with someone you love. The silog meals were as good as always, savory, filling, and just the kind of homey flavor that warms your heart. We lingered a bit after finishing, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the chance to slow down.
When we finally walked back home, I was greeted by a small but exciting surprise, my parcel had arrived. It was the instant film for my Instax mini 12 camera. this was the one my husband had gifted me on our previous anniversary.
I'd been waiting for it for a while, eager to start using my instax camera again. Holding the pack of film, I instantly imagined snapping photos during our next family outing or capturing moments at future celebrations.
It may not have been a grand adventure, but yesterday reminded me that happiness often hides in life's simple moments. An unplanned date, a small delivery, and the warmth of familiar places shared with the people you love and cherish most.
And that's it for today's blog! I hope you guys like it and thank you for dropping by! I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.
