Hi everyone! Hello to the beautiful people of @hiveph community. This is me “LJ” and today I will share another blog to you all!
My day started at early at 7:00 a.m. Still a little sleepy, but I still managed to eat my simple breakfast. I took a few minutes to put on my makeup, just a little powder, lipstick, mascara and blush to give me that extra boost of confidence to face the day. After all the preparations, I leave home and rode my electric bike to work. The morning breeze instantly refreshed me, and I enjoyed watching the streets slowly come alive. That quiet ride always feels like a small gift before the busyness of the day begins.
At work, the morning kicked off with the flag ceremony. It’s a short routine but it sets the tone of the day. Then came the real challenge which is the paperwork. My desk looked like a mess and I started to tackle one task after another until break time finally arrived and my coworker which is also my best friend invited me to have something to eat.
By 12 noon, I headed home for lunch. The best part? My husband cooked our lunch. Sitting down to a home-cooked meal with my family and sharing stories over food is something I always look forward to. It’s not just about filling our stomachs, but about the togetherness and warmth that makes lunchtime so special.
Before 1:00 p.m, I returned to the office for the afternoon shift. The hours moved slower than the morning, but I kept busy until the clock finally struck at 5:00 p.m. The relief of packing up and heading home is always the best feeling.
Once I got home, it was time for some snacks. And today’s treat was pizza! I bought it from Angels Pizza and it instantly made me happy. There’s just something about grabbing a slice after a long day that feels like a celebration. Cheesy, warm and comforting! Definitely the highlight of my afternoon. It is the kind of simple happiness that makes me grateful.
After indulging in pizza, I settled into my usual Netflix time. What starts as “just one episode” often turns into two or three (oops!). But I don’t mind, it’s my way of unwinding and escaping into a different world after all the work. Dinner came later, another cozy moment with family. Eating together, chatting about the day, and simply being around each other made the evening complete.
Looking at my day, it may seem ordinary like the e-bike rides, paperworks, snacks netflix, and repeat. But in between are moments that make it special. Life does not always have to be exciting to be meaningful. Sometimes, it’s in these little things, the simple snacks, the laughter at the dining table, family meals cooked with love by my husband, and the shared routines that I find the most joy. And for me, that’s more than enough.
