Hello everyone in the @hiveph community! It's me again "LJ" and I will be sharing another blog to you all.
Today is Monday, and like every start of the week, I had to wake up early again to prepare for work. Mondays always have this certain heaviness because it marks the beginning of another cycle of tasks, but at the same time, it also feels refreshing in a way like a chance to start again.
As soon as I got to the office, my desk was already piled with paperwork waiting to be finished. It was indeed another typical day at work, filled with documents that needed to be sorted out. Since I knew it was going to be a long morning, I decide to bring some biscuits with me so that I could easily grab a bite whenever I felt my stomach growling.
When lunch time finally came, I ate with my friend again, as we usually do. Sharing meals with a friend makes a day less tiring and helps me recharge for the second half of work.
Before going home, my other friend who also happens to be our school nurse, and I decided to try something fun, I had bought some fake lashes from Tiktok shop and test them out. So right there, we took a few minutes to put them on.
We were so amused by the results! It turned out really nice on both of us that makes us took a selfie. It instantly made our eyes look brighter and more defined, and we could not stop smiling at how simple yet effective it was.
My friend said that there is no need to spend a lot of money on eyelash extensions anymore when we could get the same pretty effect for much less. It was a small but fun bonding moment that made our day a bit more exciting.
Finally after work, I headed home. The day had been full but not too exhausting. I grab some snack from the fridge and it was the dunkin yan that I bought yesterday when I went to the city. Having them at home felt like a reward after a day's worth of effort.
Later that evening, when it was time for dinner, I kept it simple and just ordered some tapsilog from my go-to shop here in our place. While eating, I open Netflix and watched my favorite series, letting myself relax completely. It felt like a perfect way to cap off a busy Monday, good food, a cozy vibe, and a story on screen that I enjoy a lot.
This day may have been ordinary, but it carried little sparks of joy that made it feel special. Sometimes, happiness comes in the simplest forms like shared meals, laughter, beauty hacks with friends, sweet snacks, and a comforting dinner with a favorite show. And for me, that is more than enough to call today a good day.
