Hello everyone. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to explore many places in Vietnam. I'm back to introduce you to a pretty place in the South of Vietnam. When it comes to Kien Giang tourism, many people think of Phu Quoc first. In addition to Phu Quoc, there is also Hon Son, which is a famous tourist island in Kien Giang. Hon Son is located quite far from the mainland. A high-speed train is a means to help us go from Rach Gia city to Hon Son. Those who are afraid of speed and waves should not take the speedboat. The experience of traveling by speedboat for more than 1 hour is the fear of many people. If you cannot go by speedboat, you can go by passenger train. It will take more time to reach Hon Son. Before experiencing the wild beauty of Hon Son, watching the sunset at Rach Gia makes us excited about the beauty of this place.
After more than 1 hour, the speedboat will take you to Hon Son. After coming here, you will rent a motorbike and hotel. Motorbikes will be brought to the jetty to pick you up at the hotel. Hotel service and motorbike rental are also cheap here. If you go on a non-peak day there is no need to book in advance. There are many of those services here. The first impression when arriving in Hon Son is that the sky here is very beautiful, the sea is blue and clear. Most of the hotels here are near the sea, so the atmosphere is very cool. Many hotels have on-site food services. In the evening, you can organize a bbq in the hotel premises, seafood is caught directly from the sea around the island, so it is very fresh and the price is also reasonable. This place has not been exploited much for tourism, so it is still quite wild. In the evening, you can eat and drink at the seaside restaurants, when the air is cool, the seafood is abundant. The people here are also very enthusiastic, each resident here can be a tour guide if you need it.
Hon Son can be considered a tourist place full of mountains, forests, streams, and the sea. Famous beaches here such as Thien Tue, Bac beach, Bang beach, stacking yard, Da Chai. These beaches have the common feature that the seawater is very clean, clear, and cool. There are many beautiful rocky beaches here, you will have many great photos when coming here. There is food service on site after you swim. Bathing here is also very safe because there is always a lifeguard service. Therefore, Hon Son is suitable for families or groups of friends to travel on weekends. In addition to the sea, Hon Son also has mountains. Ma Thien Lanh mountain is the highest peak in Hon Son. If you are a mountain climbing enthusiast, Ma Thien Lanh is worth a try. On the top of Ma Thien Lanh mountain, you can watch over Hon Son. If you don't like climbing, you can ride a motorbike across the island to see the majestic mountains. The view from the mountain overlooking the sea is amazing. You can also walk around the island to discover the fishing village and the life of the people around here.
My favorite on the island is the sunset. The sunset here is beautiful, for a photography enthusiast like me, the experience of watching the sunset at Hon Son is a great opportunity to get many beautiful photos. Lai Son wharf is an ideal place for you to watch the sunset. Sitting at a beachside bar drinking a few beers, enjoying seafood, watching the sunset is a great experience here.
