This week I brought a **Wild Ranked** battle, where I will use one of my favorite **Summoner** and in my favorite **Splinter** in a low mana battle.
Hope you will enjoy the battle like I did! ๐

| Ruleset |
Description |
| Stampede |
The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed. |
| Blood and Sunder |
All Monsters have the Corrosive Ward ability. |
|
|
The mana cap was 31, which is not much, but allows me to use few key monsters in order to try to control the battlefield. The **Stampede** ruleset will give the **Trample** ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, but it only really works with the **Melee** ones. The **Trample** ability will allow them to get an extra attack against the monster behind their target, but only when they are able to kill their target. ๐
The **Blood and Sunder** ruleset is not a big deal esepecially if you do not use monsters with a lot of **Armor**, because essentialy all the monsters will get a reflected damage back to themselves and it will reduce their maximum **Armor** by two. ๐

My lineup and the decision behind it!
Summoner
Thaddius Brood

Like I said before the **Death** Splinter was always my favorite **Splinter** and amongst the different **Summoners** **Thaddius** is versatile and quite cheap with his four mana. He will decrease the **Magic** damage and the **Health** of all the enemy monsters by one. ๐

Main Tank
Cursed Windeku

The **Cursed Windeku** is an amzing tank within the **Death** Splinter especially in a low mana battle, because he cost only 6 mana and has quite a lot of **Health**. He also has the **Thorns** ability, so he will be able to reflect two damage back to any **Melee** attack monster who dare to target him. ๐

Low Budget Off-Tank
Wily Coyotian

The **Wily Coyotian** cost only two mana, which is nice, but his stats is not that good as well. At least he has **Armor** on its own, which is good to block few attacks and to protect my backline. ๐

Melee De-buffer
Dark Arborist

I used the **Dark Arborist** solely because she has the **Demoralize** ability, which will decrease the **Melee** attack of the enemy monsters by one as long as she is alive. She also has one **Magic** damage, so apart from her de-buff she is able to deal one **Magic** attack damage and that damage will ignore the enemy **Armor**. ๐ค

Damage Dealer
Arachne Weaver

The **Arachne Weaver** is a very interesting monster, because he can not heal himself, but he can heal others with his **Corrupted Healing** ability! Generally there is no healer in the **Death** Splinter, but **Arachne** is able to **Heal** 70% of his friendly and damaged monsters in the same round, but at the cost that they will lose one maximum **Health**. He also has +2 **Magic** damage, which makes him a very good damage dealer as well. ๐

The Bloodluster
Usut

**Usut** will be my key monster for this battle, because he has a lot of **Health** with **Magic** damage, which is the strongest in the game. He also has the **Bloodlust** ability, which means if he manage to kill his target he will increase his own stats by one. If my opponent decide to bring some **Sneak** attack monsters he is also an amazing tank in my backline. ๐

My opponent brought the **Helios Matriarch** Summoner who belongs to the **Dragon** Splinter, so she will be able to use any **Dragon** monsters in her team, which is very good especially when their is not much options to choose from. She also has the power to give +1 **Speed** to her monsters and on top of that she is able to pick one additional **Gladiator** into this battle if my opponent decides to bring any. ๐
In the first round my first and last tank got damaged, but my **Arachne** healed them up pretty nicely even though they lost one maximum **Health**. (*I think this worth its price right now*) Still in the same round my opponent lost their **Hill Giant**, because all of my monsters attacked him.
My opponent brough some pretty powerful **Sneak** attack monsters, so picking **Usut** as my last monster was a very good idea, because he had a lot of **Health** and with the **Heal** from my **Arachne** he managed to sustain a lot of incoming damage and to survive round two as well. I managed to kill another of their monster the same way my team did in the first round and only four monsters left in the enemy team. ๐
The third round started their **Dhampir Infiltrator** killing himself against my **Cursed Windeku** who was equipped with the **Thorns** ability. Their **Katrelba** was still suffering to kill my **Usut** and soon after my team quickly killed her and their **Queen Mycelia**, because they didn't have too much **Health**.
Only one monster remained in the enemy team, which was their **Fungus Flinger** and it was very easy to kill her.
It is clear that my opponent predicted a similar team than his and that is why he tried to build a team against another **Sneak** attack lineup, but luckily I had a different strategy in mind and was able to win this battle over him. ๐
