Overview
Today I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where the most important limiting factor will be the mana cap, but it is advised to take into consideration the rulesets as well if you want to win this battle. ๐
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)
Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Back to Basics | Monsters lose all abilities. |
Equalizer | The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. |
Maneuvers | All units have the Reach ability. |
My lineup
|Kelya Frendul was an obvious and easy choice for me as my Summoner, because he cost only four mana and in return he gives +1 speed and +1 armor to all of his friendly monsters, so they will be quicker and they will be able to block one full physical attack. ๐| |The Torrent Spawn cost zero mana and usually he doesn't have too much stats and quite weak. Luckily the Equalizer ruleset raise his health to six like everyone in this battle, which is a huge upgrade and for zero mana I was able to get a decent tank. ๐|
|The Cruel Sethropod cost zero mana and has nice amount of melee attack damage, which is two. Normally he wouldn't be able to attack from the second position, but again the Manuvers ruleset helped him to get the Reach ability, so he was able to deal damage from there. ๐| |The Halfling Refugee also has a nice amoutn of attack damage the same as my Sethropod, but he couldn't attack from there only in case my Torrent Spawn dies. I used him as my off-off tank for this abttle to protect my backline. ๐|
|Igor Darkspear costed only two mana, which was an easy choice to bring him into this battle. He has +1 ranged attack only, but for two mana at least he is making some damage. ๐| |The Kulu Swimhunter cost twice as much like my Igor and he has twice as much damage as well and he is well worth its price as long as I am able to keep my frontline alive to protect him. ๐ค|
|The Shock Trooper also cost 4 mana and he has twice as much damage like my Kulu and on top of that that damage is magic, so he will ignore the enemy armors completely. In a normal battle without the Back to Basics ruleset he would have a very dangerous ability, which will damage all of his friendly monsters, but luckily I do not need to worry about that and just enjoy his raw damage power. ๐ค|
