Good day witches and wizards, welcome to @lorene08's blog. For today, Iâll share my first Science exhibit experienceânot as a student who only visited to watch, but as one who performed and explained the experiments.

Last September 3, the SRNHS Science teachers announced that our school will organized a Science Exhibit, we were all happy and excited, but when they announced that STEM students are assigned for this eventâlet's just say we were frowning because we are too tired due to some other activities we were doing as a student too.
When they announced the groups I was kind of fine with it since I know a lot from the grade 12,but I surely am nervous because Grade 11 and Grade 12 students need to be paired and I don't know anyone from the grade 11 STEM studentsđ
Every Friday's we are scheduled to be excused for the whole day for the planning of experiments, this so tiring though, especially with all the expenses for the materials for our decorations and the materials for our experiments. But because of this, eventually some of the grade 11 and 12 students became friends and there was not much shyness with each other anymore.
Fast forward to the decorating of our stations, we only have 1 day for it to decorate, and this part was so exhaustingâespecially since some of our members would suddenly disappear, others were just chilling around, and some were not even present.

**The Day Of Our Science Exhibit**
September 24,2025ânow itâs the day that all of us STEM students have been waiting for! The theme for our group is Harry Potter or simply Witches or Wizards!! Each member of the group was paired (Grade 11 students had to be paired with Grade 12 students), and then divided into four groups since we had to be separated. There were 4 rooms, and each room had 4 stations. Thatâs why our expenses were quite big because we had to prepare many booths.

The event really didn't start at exactly 8 am Since we were also dependent on the teachers and the students who were our visitors for the event. Each pair are given to only explain the experiment/s for only 8 minutes, and if the time is done, the student must rotate for them to see the experiment or booth of the other remaining stations. Actually, even though this event was quite fun because we can do experiments but the exhausting part was we have to stand and talk again and again for 1 hour until our assigned time is doneđ

Unfortunately, our Science teachers need to stop the exhibit for a while due to the disorganization, some students did not go directly to their assigned areas and the rotation in each room was incorrect. Some of them even went out right away after visiting only one stationâso the event resume by 10 a.m.

As promised, teachers also gave us all STEM students a snack!!đ€
To be honest, our station failed many times for our second experiment, and it was quite sad and frustrating for us, especially since we entertained over 50 students that morning. So, our leader took action and decided that by the afternoon, we would use our backup experiment instead, since the chemical we were using was almost consumed, and the backup experiment didnât require any chemicals.

Now let me share my experience with my Grade 11 partner. Honestly, I was really nervous on the first day when it was announced who my pair would be, because I thought he was competitive and strict. But actually, he was really chill. He even told me, âAte, you donât need to feel pressured, just relax! Iâll take care of you.â And true enough, when it was our turn to present, he stayed calm, kept making jokes, and that made our whole presentation smoother. The students, especially the kids, really enjoyed it. We eventually became very close, and fun factâalthough Iâm already so playful and energetic with my friends, his energy both in person and in chats is like 110% more than mine! HAHAHAHAHA.
The day ends with us being called in our quadrangle with the head Science teacher slash our grade 12 STEM Chemistry teacher, congratulating us for our first experience and successful event!

I could see in everyoneâs eyes how tired they were and how much effort we all put in. I really love how all the Science teachers noticed and appreciated our hard work throughout the whole day event. They even gave us time to rest, and we were so thankful for that.
This whole-day event experience? Letâs just say I truly enjoyed itâespecially seeing those priceless reactions from the kids in Grades 7 to 10. As for the Grade 11 students, letâs admit theyâre harder to impress, but I could still tell they enjoyed it! I love how every student we showed our experiments to was so energetic. The room was filled with shouting, singing, and laughter! This event was both the worst and the best!

An event full of laughter, complaints, and learnings.
Before I end this blog, let me drop some pictures from all the 4 stations in Room 1 and an outdoor experiment by the station 5-group 5!!

Thank you for reading everyone! See you in my next blogs!!đ§đ»ââïžđȘ
