Today, I set out to update my knowledge and dust off what I know about Venezuelan culture and attended a very interesting activity at the home of Andrés Eloy Blanco, an icon of our literature and culture. Born on August 6, 1896 in Cumaná, Venezuela, Blanco is recognized as one of the most influential and outstanding poets in the history of Venezuelan and Latin American literature.
Tomorrow is the 129th anniversary of his birth, and since Monday tributes have been held in his name. I was very happy to arrive at the place and listen to the lecture on Andrés Eloy Blanco as a playwright, presented by Dr. Carolina Lista. There, I learned about the poet's facet as a playwright, which was a very interesting moment.
The discussion was full of very interesting questions and answers. I loved learning more about this great writer and his influence in our literature.

Hoy, me propuse actualizar mis conocimientos y desempolvar lo que sé de la cultura venezolana y asistí a una actividad muy interesante en la casa de Andrés Eloy Blanco, un icono de nuestra literatura y cultura. Nacido el 6 de agosto de 1896 en Cumaná, Venezuela, Blanco es reconocido como uno de los poetas más influyentes y destacados en la historia de la literatura venezolana y latinoamericana.
Mañana se cumplen 129 años desde su nacimiento, y desde el lunes se han estado realizando homenajes en su nombre. Me sentí muy contenta al llegar al lugar y escuchar el conversatorio sobre Andrés Eloy Blanco como dramaturgo, expuesto por la doctora Carolina Lista. Allí, conocí la faceta del poeta como dramaturgo, lo que fue un momento muy interesante.
El conversatorio estuvo lleno de preguntas y respuestas muy interesantes. Me encantó aprender más sobre este gran escritor y su influencia en nuestra literatura.
