Hello everyone! My name is Lorentm, and I’m truly delighted to welcome you once again to my art blog. On this occasion, I bring you a very special piece inspired by one of the characters from @holozing: Arachlet. She’s a spider-inspired character that instantly caught my attention for her mysterious yet charming aura.
Working on this fan art was a fascinating journey for me, because I wanted to explore how to translate her arachnid essence into a more delicate and feminine humanized form. It was a challenge, but also a joy, because it allowed me to experiment with new ideas and visual interpretations.
Arachlet, in her original design, has something enigmatic in her look and colors, and I tried to keep that while adding a playful and sweet side. This contrast of mystery and tenderness was what I wanted to highlight in my illustration, and it made me feel deeply connected to the character while drawing her.
I also want to take a moment to thank @acidyo and @holozing for continuously supporting my artwork and giving me the inspiration to keep creating and sharing my art with this amazing community.

En esta ocasión les traigo una obra muy especial inspirada en uno de los personajes de @holozing: Arachlet. Ella es un personaje inspirado en las arañas que llamó mi atención de inmediato por su aura misteriosa pero encantadora.
> Trabajar en este fan art fue un recorrido fascinante para mí, ya que quise explorar cómo traducir su esencia arácnida en una forma más delicada y femenina. Fue un reto, pero también una gran alegría, porque me permitió experimentar con nuevas ideas e interpretaciones visuales.
> Arachlet, en su diseño original, tiene algo enigmático en su mirada y en sus colores, y yo quise conservarlo al mismo tiempo que añadía un lado juguetón y tierno. Este contraste de misterio y dulzura fue lo que busqué resaltar en mi ilustración, y me hizo sentir muy conectada con el personaje durante el proceso de dibujo.

In this version, Arachlet takes the form of a cheerful young girl with bright purple hair tied up in playful pigtails. Her large red eyes keep the intensity of her original design but with a softer, more endearing touch. She wears a simple yet elegant purple dress, complemented by long gloves that evoke her arachnid origin.
The detail that I found most fun was representing her spider essence through her glowing threads. In the scene, she’s happily playing with her web, shaping it between her fingers as if it were a game of string figures. The background, decorated with faint luminous webs, creates a magical and enchanting atmosphere where she shines as the protagonist.
> En esta versión, Arachlet toma la forma de una alegre jovencita con cabello púrpura brillante recogido en coletas juguetonas. Sus grandes ojos rojos conservan la intensidad de su diseño original, pero con un toque más suave y encantador. Ella viste un sencillo pero elegante vestido morado, complementado con largos guantes que evocan su origen arácnido.
> El detalle que más disfruté fue representar su esencia de araña a través de sus hilos brillantes. En la escena, ella juega alegremente con su telaraña, dándole forma entre sus dedos como si fuese un juego de figuras con cuerda. El fondo, decorado con sutiles telarañas luminosas, crea una atmósfera mágica y encantadora en la que ella brilla como protagonista.

I began with a rough sketch to define the character’s proportions, her pose, and the general idea of her playful interaction with the web. This first step was key to capturing her cheerful energy.
Once the sketch was ready, I worked on the lineart, giving her a clean anime-style outline with smooth curves to make her look delicate but still dynamic. Each line was meant to reflect her softness and charm.
Afterward, I moved on to the coloring stage, where I used different shades of purple and pink to give her a vibrant yet harmonious look. This color choice was essential to maintain her connection to the original character while making her more feminine and warm.
The next step was shading, which gave depth to her dress, hair, and body, emphasizing her volume and giving a sense of movement to her playful pose.
Then came the highlights, one of my favorite parts, where I added glow to her hair, her eyes, and especially the luminous threads she holds in her hands. This brought the illustration to life and created a magical feel.
Finally, I completed the background with soft purples and luminous spiderwebs that framed the scene, enhancing the atmosphere of enchantment and making Arachlet stand out even more.
> Comencé con un boceto rápido para definir las proporciones del personaje, su pose y la idea general de su interacción juguetona con la telaraña. Este primer paso fue clave para capturar su energía alegre.
> Una vez listo el boceto, pasé al delineado, dándole un contorno limpio al estilo anime con curvas suaves para que se viera delicada pero dinámica. Cada línea buscaba reflejar su ternura y encanto.
> Después avancé con el coloreado, donde utilicé diferentes tonos de púrpura y rosa para darle un aspecto vibrante pero armonioso. Esta elección de colores fue esencial para mantener su conexión con el personaje original y al mismo tiempo hacerla más femenina y cálida.
> El siguiente paso fueron las sombras, que aportaron profundidad a su vestido, cabello y cuerpo, resaltando el volumen y dando una sensación de movimiento a su pose juguetona.
> Luego llegaron los brillos, una de mis partes favoritas, donde añadí destellos en su cabello, sus ojos y especialmente en los hilos luminosos que sostiene entre sus manos. Esto dio vida a la ilustración y creó una atmósfera mágica.
> Finalmente, completé el fondo con tonos suaves de púrpura y telarañas luminosas que enmarcan la escena, potenciando el ambiente encantador y haciendo que Arachlet destaque aún más.

This artwork was a delightful experience, not only because I got to explore the transformation of Arachlet into a more humanized and feminine version, but also because I could capture her playful side in a magical atmosphere. * Capacitive pen (Stylus).
* Ibis Paint X program.
* Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
