Hello everyone! My name is Lorentm, I’m a digital artist, and I’m thrilled to welcome you once again to my art blog. Today, I want to share a new piece that I created for the wonderful @holozing community. It’s always a joy for me to bring to life characters from this project and reinterpret them in my own style.

Siempre es una alegría para mí dar vida a los personajes de este proyecto y reinterpretarlos en mi propio estilo.
This time, I chose Emberion, the fire dragon, one of the most powerful and striking characters of @holozing. I decided to transform him into a humanized anime version, keeping his fierce essence while adding inspiration from Kyōjurō Rengoku from Demon Slayer. His passionate personality and fiery aura made him the perfect match for this style.
> En esta ocasión elegí a Emberion, el dragón de fuego, uno de los personajes más poderosos e imponentes de @holozing. Decidí transformarlo en una versión humanizada al estilo anime, conservando su esencia feroz mientras añadía inspiración de Kyōjurō Rengoku de Demon Slayer. Su personalidad apasionada y su aura ardiente lo convirtieron en la combinación perfecta para este estilo.
Some of you might remember that I previously created Zappit in the style of Zenitsu, another beloved Demon Slayer character. That experience inspired me to keep going with this idea, and today Emberion takes the spotlight in a burning and heroic form.

Before I go into details, I’d like to take a moment to thank @acidyo and @holozing for continuously supporting my work. Their encouragement motivates me to push my creativity further and share it proudly with all of you.

Emberion, in this version, stands proudly with a humanoid appearance but keeps his dragon essence intact. His skin tone, claws, and sharp features make it clear that he’s still a dragon at heart. His hair flows like fire, mixing bright yellows and reds, as if it were made of living flames that reflect his inner strength. His determined eyes glow with intensity, showing his spirit as a fighter.
> Emberion, en esta versión, se muestra orgulloso con una apariencia humanoide pero manteniendo intacta su esencia de dragón. Su tono de piel, sus garras y sus rasgos afilados dejan claro que en el fondo sigue siendo un dragón. Su cabello fluye como el fuego, mezclando amarillos brillantes y rojos, como si estuviera hecho de llamas vivas que reflejan su fuerza interior. Sus ojos decididos brillan con intensidad, mostrando su espíritu de luchador.
He wears a dark uniform inspired by samurai warriors, with a long cape that turns into flame patterns at the ends, giving him an imposing and fiery aura. The flaming sword in his hand becomes the center of the composition, a weapon that not only represents his power but also his unbreakable determination.
> Viste un uniforme oscuro inspirado en los guerreros samuráis, con una capa larga que se transforma en patrones de llamas en los bordes, otorgándole un aura imponente y ardiente. La espada en llamas que sostiene en su mano se convierte en el centro de la composición, un arma que no solo representa su poder, sino también su determinación inquebrantable.
The scene takes place on a cracked, scorched ground, with flames rising around him like a storm of fire. This background makes Emberion feel like he’s standing in the middle of a battlefield, ready to protect and unleash his strength.
> La escena tiene lugar sobre un suelo agrietado y calcinado, con llamas que se alzan a su alrededor como una tormenta de fuego. Este fondo hace que Emberion parezca estar en medio de un campo de batalla, listo para proteger y desatar toda su fuerza.

I started with a sketch, letting the energy of the idea flow freely onto the canvas. At this stage, I focused on capturing Emberion’s pose and presence, making sure his stance felt strong and heroic. It was the foundation where I defined how his dragon traits and anime-inspired look would blend together.
> Comencé con un boceto, dejando que la energía de la idea fluyera libremente sobre el lienzo. En esta etapa me concentré en capturar la pose y la presencia de Emberion, asegurándome de que su postura se sintiera fuerte y heroica. Fue la base donde definí cómo sus rasgos de dragón y su apariencia inspirada en el anime se fusionarían.
Next, I worked on the lineart. Clean and defined outlines gave structure to the drawing, highlighting key details like his fiery hair, his sharp claws, and the folds of his uniform. This step brought clarity and set the stage for the rest of the work.
> Luego trabajé en el delineado. Los trazos limpios y definidos dieron estructura al dibujo, resaltando detalles clave como su cabello llameante, sus garras afiladas y los pliegues de su uniforme. Este paso trajo claridad y preparó el escenario para el resto del trabajo.
Once the lines were ready, I moved on to coloring. I used a palette of reds, oranges, and yellows to emphasize his fire element, balanced by the dark tones of his clothing. At this point, Emberion’s personality began to shine through the colors, full of intensity and warmth.
> Una vez listas las líneas, pasé al coloreado. Utilicé una paleta de rojos, naranjas y amarillos para resaltar su elemento de fuego, equilibrados con los tonos oscuros de su vestimenta. En este punto, la personalidad de Emberion comenzó a brillar a través de los colores, llena de intensidad y energía.
Shading came next, adding depth and volume to the figure. By carefully placing the shadows, I emphasized the strength of his body, the folds of his outfit, and the textures of his dragon features. This stage gave the character a strong and realistic presence.
> Luego llegaron las sombras, añadiendo profundidad y volumen a la figura. Al colocar las sombras cuidadosamente, resalté la fuerza de su cuerpo, los pliegues de su atuendo y las texturas de sus rasgos dracónicos. Esta etapa le dio al personaje una presencia fuerte y realista.
With shading in place, I added highlights to bring the fire to life. I used bright touches on his hair, sword, and eyes, creating the illusion of flames in motion. The highlights gave movement and intensity, making Emberion look as if he were glowing from within.
> Con las sombras en su lugar, añadí los brillos para dar vida al fuego. Usé toques luminosos en su cabello, espada y ojos, creando la ilusión de llamas en movimiento. Los brillos aportaron movimiento e intensidad, haciendo que Emberion pareciera resplandecer desde su interior.
Finally, I created the background, imagining Emberion standing in the middle of a fiery battlefield. The cracks on the ground and the rising flames enhanced the drama of the scene, connecting him directly with the element he represents: fire.
> Finalmente, creé el fondo, imaginando a Emberion de pie en medio de un campo de batalla en llamas. Las grietas en el suelo y las llamas que se alzaban intensificaron el dramatismo de la escena, conectándolo directamente con el elemento que representa: el fuego.

Working on this piece was both exciting and emotional for me. It allowed me to merge two worlds I love: the powerful characters of @holozing and the epic style of Demon Slayer. Seeing Emberion transformed into this anime-inspired warrior filled me with joy and made me appreciate even more the versatility of digital art.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:

* Capacitive pen (Stylus).
* Ibis Paint X program.
* Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
