Hello everyone, my name is Lorentm, and I am thrilled to welcome you to my art blog. Today, I want to share with you a very special illustration that means a lot to me. It is inspired by one of the characters from @holozing, and I felt an incredible excitement while bringing her to life in my own way.
This character is the female Light Healer, a figure that immediately caught my attention. She carries a sense of purity and strength, glowing with radiant energy, yet in my version, I wanted to reimagine her in a very different context. I thought it would be fascinating to place her in the Old West, where her role as a healer transforms into that of a legendary sniper—someone who still protects and defends, but in a setting of dust, heat, and duels under the sun.
As I worked on her, I felt that unique mix of admiration and creativity, the kind that pushes you to experiment. Reinterpreting a healer in a Western style was both a challenge and an opportunity to explore contrasts: light and desert, protection and combat, healing hands turned into a steady aim.
This post is the beginning of a new collection where I will create healers inspired by the Wild West in anime style. This first piece is the foundation of something bigger, and I’m excited to share this artistic journey with you all.
> Hola a todos, mi nombre es Lorentm y estoy muy emocionada de darles la bienvenida a mi blog de arte. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una ilustración muy especial que significa mucho para mí. Está inspirada en uno de los personajes de @holozing, y sentí una emoción increíble al darle vida con mi propio estilo.
> Este personaje es la sanadora de luz femenina, una figura que de inmediato llamó mi atención. Ella transmite pureza y fuerza, brillando con energía radiante, pero en mi versión quise reimaginarla en un contexto muy diferente. Pensé que sería fascinante situarla en el Viejo Oeste, donde su papel como sanadora se transforma en el de una francotiradora legendaria, alguien que aún protege y defiende, pero en un escenario de polvo, calor y duelos bajo el sol.
> Mientras trabajaba en ella, sentí esa mezcla única de admiración y creatividad, la que te impulsa a experimentar. Reinterpretar a una sanadora en un estilo western fue a la vez un reto y una oportunidad de explorar contrastes: luz y desierto, protección y combate, manos curativas transformadas en una puntería firme.
> Esta publicación marca el inicio de una nueva colección donde crearé sanadores inspirados en el Lejano Oeste con un estilo anime. Esta primera pieza es la base de algo más grande, y me emociona compartir con ustedes este viaje artístico.
The character stands tall with determination, wearing a classic cowboy hat that shades her piercing gaze. Her long braid falls gracefully over her shoulder, adding a touch of femininity and strength at the same time. She wears a scarf around her neck, a symbol of both her wanderer’s spirit and her readiness for the challenges of the desert.
Her outfit is a mix of practicality and symbolism: a fitted jacket, gloves for precision, and a belt that ties everything together in a Western silhouette. What makes her truly special is the custom rifle she carries, decorated with delicate details that hint at her role as a healer turned protector.
> El personaje se muestra erguida y decidida, llevando un clásico sombrero vaquero que enmarca su mirada penetrante. Su larga trenza cae con gracia sobre su hombro, aportando un toque de feminidad y fuerza al mismo tiempo. Lleva un pañuelo en el cuello, símbolo tanto de su espíritu viajero como de su preparación para los desafíos del desierto.
> Su atuendo es una mezcla de practicidad y simbolismo: una chaqueta ajustada, guantes para la precisión y un cinturón que unifica todo en una silueta western. Lo que la hace realmente especial es el rifle personalizado que sostiene, decorado con delicados detalles que insinúan su papel de sanadora transformada en protectora.

The first step was creating the sketch, where I outlined her pose and overall design. I wanted to capture her stance as both elegant and powerful, a balance between healer and sharpshooter.
Once the sketch was ready, I moved on to the line art. Clean lines gave her shape and definition, emphasizing the firmness of her gaze and the details of her clothing and weapon.
Coloring came next, where I chose a palette dominated by warm desert tones. Browns, golds, and reds set the mood of the West, while subtle highlights in her hair and eyes reminded me of her healer essence.
Shadows played an important role in giving her volume and presence. They brought weight to her clothing, depth to her rifle, and emotion to her expression, making her more than just a flat drawing.
Then came the highlights, which I carefully added to her hair, her weapon, and her accessories. These touches of light gave her a glowing aura, a nod to her origins as a Light Healer.
Finally, the background tied everything together. The vast desert, the cacti, and the burning sun created the perfect setting for her new identity as a legendary Western protector.
> El primer paso fue crear el boceto, donde tracé su pose y su diseño general. Quise capturar su postura como algo elegante y poderoso, un equilibrio entre sanadora y francotiradora.
> Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Las líneas limpias le dieron forma y definición, resaltando la firmeza de su mirada y los detalles de su ropa y su arma.
> El siguiente paso fue el coloreado, donde elegí una paleta dominada por tonos cálidos del desierto. Marrones, dorados y rojos establecieron la atmósfera del oeste, mientras que sutiles destellos en su cabello y ojos recordaban su esencia de sanadora.
> Las sombras jugaron un papel importante al darle volumen y presencia. Aportaron peso a su vestimenta, profundidad a su rifle y emoción a su expresión, convirtiéndola en más que un simple dibujo plano.
> Después llegaron los brillos, que añadí con cuidado en su cabello, su arma y sus accesorios. Estos toques de luz le dieron un aura resplandeciente, un guiño a sus orígenes como Sanadora de Luz.
> Finalmente, el fondo unió todo el conjunto. El vasto desierto, los cactus y el sol ardiente crearon el escenario perfecto para su nueva identidad como protectora legendaria del oeste.

* Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
