Female Ocean Healer Medieval

Hello everyone and welcome once again to my little corner of the digital art world. I’m Lorentm, a passionate digital artist who loves bringing fantasy characters to life, especially those from the wonderful @holozing community. Today, I’m super excited to share with you a new fan art I've created, based on one of my favorite characters: the female Ocean Healer, interpreted in an anime style. This piece is part of a new collection I’ve started under the initiative promoted by @acidyo to create themed art sets. My current focus is on **healers**, each with a medieval flair that merges classic fantasy aesthetics with vibrant, modern anime influences. This Ocean Healer is the third character in this evolving collection, and honestly, I’m falling more in love with the theme with each illustration. The moment I chose this character, I felt drawn to the soothing power she emanates. Her presence feels calm, protective, and wise, almost like a guardian of both the sea and the soul. I imagined her as a figure standing proudly by the shore under the moonlight, her magic resonating with the waves and stars. Bringing her to life was both a challenge and a delight. I wanted to emphasize her mystical aura through soft lighting, oceanic tones, and detailed magical accessories. As I worked, I found myself immersed in her world, hearing the crashing waves and feeling the cool night breeze. > Hola a todas y todos, bienvenidos nuevamente a mi pequeño rincón del arte digital. Soy Lorentm, una artista digital apasionada por dar vida a personajes fantásticos, especialmente aquellos de la maravillosa comunidad de @holozing. Hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes un nuevo fan art que he realizado, basado en uno de mis personajes favoritos: la sanadora del océano en su versión femenina, interpretada al estilo anime. > Esta pieza forma parte de una nueva colección que he iniciado dentro de la iniciativa promovida por @acidyo para crear series temáticas de arte. En esta ocasión, he decidido enfocarme en **sanadores**, dándoles un toque medieval que mezcla la estética clásica de fantasía con influencias vibrantes del anime moderno. Esta Ocean Healer es el tercer personaje de esta colección que va tomando forma poco a poco. > Desde el momento en que elegí este personaje, sentí una conexión con el poder sanador y tranquilizante que transmite. Su presencia es serena, protectora y sabia, como si fuera una guardiana del mar y del alma. La imaginé de pie junto a la costa bajo la luz de la luna, con su magia resonando con las olas y las estrellas. > Crearla fue tanto un reto como un placer. Quería resaltar su aura mística a través de una iluminación suave, tonos oceánicos y accesorios mágicos bien detallados. A medida que avanzaba en el dibujo, me sentía inmersa en su mundo, escuchando el romper de las olas y sintiendo la brisa fresca de la noche.

The female Ocean Healer is depicted with striking light blue hair that flows just past her shoulders, representing the rhythm of the waves. Her eyes are large and expressive, a window into her calm yet determined spirit. She wears a beautiful sea-themed crown made of golden shells and pearls, symbolizing her bond with the ocean. Her outfit consists of a deep blue robe cinched at the waist with a golden-brown belt, complemented by a short cape that has a pale exterior and dark lining. On her chest, she wears a magical emblem with a water droplet, glowing faintly with power. Her staff is ornate, topped with a crescent moon and a glowing orb, representing both lunar influence and magical potency. Little details, like her side pouch and the seafoam-like glow behind her, add to the worldbuilding. She’s clearly a wanderer and a protector, someone who heals not just wounds, but hearts. > La sanadora del océano femenina está representada con un cabello azul claro que cae suavemente más allá de sus hombros, evocando el movimiento rítmico de las olas. Sus ojos son grandes y expresivos, una ventana a su espíritu tranquilo pero decidido. Lleva una corona marina decorada con conchas doradas y perlas, símbolo de su conexión profunda con el océano. > Su vestimenta consiste en una túnica azul profundo, ceñida a la cintura con un cinturón marrón dorado, complementada con una capa corta que tiene un exterior claro y un forro oscuro. En el pecho luce un emblema mágico con una gota de agua que brilla sutilmente, mostrando su poder. Su bastón es ornamentado, coronado con una luna creciente y una esfera luminosa, símbolos de la influencia lunar y su fuerza mágica. > Los pequeños detalles, como su bolsa lateral y el resplandor similar a la espuma marina detrás de ella, enriquecen la narrativa visual. Es claramente una viajera y protectora, alguien que no solo sana heridas, sino también corazones. --- ## Process / Proceso

I began the creation with a rough sketch, using soft, flowing lines to establish the pose and the serene attitude of the character. At this stage, I wasn’t focused on perfection, just on capturing her essence and the emotion of the scene. Once the sketch felt right, I moved on to the lineart. I carefully traced clean lines over the base sketch, making sure to preserve the softness in her expression and the fluidity of her hair and cape. The staff required a bit more precision, especially in the details of the crescent and the orb. Coloring was pure joy. I used a palette of blues, teals, and sandy golds to evoke the sea and moonlight. Her hair and eyes received extra attention, as they are central to her character. I chose smooth transitions to give her clothing volume and a harmonious color balance. Next came the shadows, which I applied with soft brushes to add depth to her face, robes, and accessories. I imagined a moonlit scene, so the light source was subtle but directional, casting delicate shadows to maintain a gentle atmosphere. After that, I added highlights to her hair, face, and magical items. These sparkles brought her to life, emphasizing her mystical energy. The glow on the staff and the shimmer on the water emblem gave the entire piece a magical tone. Lastly, I worked on the background. I painted a calm seascape with foamy waves and a night sky filled with stars and clouds. The color gradient from ocean to sky helped frame the character beautifully, and the final touch was adding a magical moon to echo the crescent on her staff. > Comencé la creación con un boceto inicial, utilizando líneas suaves y fluidas para establecer la pose y la actitud serena del personaje. En esta etapa no me enfoqué en la perfección, sino en capturar su esencia y la emoción de la escena. > Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Trazo a trazo, fui marcando líneas limpias sobre la base, cuidando mantener la suavidad en su expresión y el movimiento natural del cabello y la capa. El bastón requirió más precisión, sobre todo en los detalles de la luna creciente y la esfera mágica. > El coloreado fue una verdadera alegría. Utilicé una paleta de azules, turquesas y dorados arenosos para evocar el mar y la luz de la luna. Presté especial atención al cabello y los ojos, ya que son elementos centrales del personaje. Las transiciones suaves ayudaron a dar volumen a su ropa y mantener una armonía visual. > Después apliqué las sombras, utilizando pinceles suaves para añadir profundidad al rostro, la túnica y los accesorios. Imaginé una escena iluminada por la luna, así que la fuente de luz fue sutil pero bien dirigida, proyectando sombras delicadas que mantienen una atmósfera apacible. > Luego agregué los brillos en el cabello, rostro y objetos mágicos. Estos destellos le dieron vida al personaje, resaltando su energía mística. El resplandor en el bastón y el brillo del emblema de agua aportaron un toque mágico a toda la pieza. > Finalmente trabajé en el fondo. Pinté un paisaje marino tranquilo con olas espumosas y un cielo nocturno lleno de estrellas y nubes. El degradado de color entre el océano y el cielo ayudó a enmarcar al personaje de forma armoniosa, y el toque final fue añadir una luna mágica que reflejara el diseño del bastón. || |---| |

--- Working on this piece was a soothing and rewarding experience. Each brushstroke felt like part of a story unfolding under the stars. I'm very happy with how this healer turned out, and she now holds a special place in my heart and my medieval healer collection. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
