Creating art is a journey where each piece carries a story, and today I’m excited to share the tale behind my latest fan art. Hello everyone, I’m Lorentm, a digital artist passionate about anime-style illustrations. Welcome back to my art blog! I’m thrilled to be part of the @holozing community once again and to contribute a new piece inspired by one of their characters. This time, I decided to bring to life the male Light Healer — a character that radiates warmth, calm, and sacred strength. Drawing him was an emotional experience, especially because I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather these last few days. But even through the fatigue, creating this artwork brought me a sense of peace and purpose. He is the fourth character in my new medieval healer collection, a project I started as part of the art collection initiative promoted by @acidyo. I’ve been imagining a universe where powerful healers serve as beacons of light in dark times, each with their own energy and symbolism. The male Light Healer is a core figure in this vision. Through golden rays, flowing robes, and a steady gaze, I tried to represent not only the divine side of this character but also his quiet confidence and healing aura. I hope this illustration transmits the strength and serenity I felt while creating it. > Crear arte es un viaje donde cada obra lleva una historia, y hoy estoy emocionada de compartir la historia detrás de mi último fan art. ¡Hola a todos! Me llena de alegría seguir participando en la comunidad de @holozing y aportar una nueva pieza inspirada en uno de sus personajes. > Esta vez decidí dar vida al sanador de luz masculino — un personaje que irradia calidez, calma y fuerza sagrada. Dibujarlo fue una experiencia muy emocional, especialmente porque he estado un poco enferma estos últimos días. Pero incluso en medio del cansancio, crear esta obra me trajo paz y propósito. > Este es el cuarto personaje de mi nueva colección de sanadores con estética medieval, un proyecto que inicié como parte de la iniciativa de colecciones artísticas promovida por @acidyo. He imaginado un universo donde los sanadores poderosos actúan como faros de luz en tiempos oscuros, cada uno con su energía y simbolismo únicos. El sanador de luz masculino es una figura central en esta visión. > A través de rayos dorados, túnicas flotantes y una mirada serena, intenté representar no solo el lado divino de este personaje, sino también su confianza tranquila y aura sanadora. Espero que esta ilustración transmita la fuerza y serenidad que sentí al crearla.

The male Light Healer stands tall with a serene and noble expression, his eyes glowing like the morning sun. His long white hair cascades gracefully over his shoulders, slightly tinted with lavender reflections, giving him an ethereal presence. He wears a long black tunic adorned with gold lines and symbols, embodying the divine energy he channels. A majestic cape drapes over his shoulders, white with golden trim, flowing like rays of light behind him. At the center of his chest, a glowing emblem resembling a radiant gem symbolizes the sacred power he carries. He holds a staff topped with a golden cross-like sun, a symbol of both healing and divine guidance. Each accessory complements his role — the belt with a pouch for herbs or relics, the tall staff that channels light magic, and the structured layers of his robes that give him both elegance and purpose. He’s designed to be a priest, a guardian, and a beacon of hope in one form. > El sanador de luz masculino se muestra imponente con una expresión serena y noble, y sus ojos brillan como el sol de la mañana. Su cabello largo y blanco cae con gracia sobre sus hombros, con reflejos lavanda que le dan una presencia etérea. Viste una túnica negra larga decorada con líneas doradas y símbolos que encarnan la energía divina que canaliza. > Una majestuosa capa cae sobre sus hombros, blanca con ribetes dorados, fluyendo como rayos de luz detrás de él. En el centro de su pecho resplandece un emblema parecido a una gema radiante, que simboliza el poder sagrado que lleva dentro. Sostiene un bastón coronado con una cruz solar dorada, símbolo tanto de sanación como de guía divina. > Cada accesorio refuerza su papel: el cinturón con una pequeña bolsa para hierbas o reliquias, el bastón alto que canaliza la magia de la luz y las capas estructuradas de su atuendo que le otorgan elegancia y firmeza. Está diseñado para ser un sacerdote, un guardián y un faro de esperanza, todo en uno. --- ## Process / Proceso

I started with a clean sketch to lay out the character’s pose and basic silhouette. I knew from the beginning I wanted him to appear calm but powerful, so I worked carefully on his posture and expression. The staff, cape, and sun elements were also roughly included to balance the composition early on. Once the sketch felt solid, I moved to the line art. I used smooth, sharp strokes to define his features and clothing. This phase is always a bit meditative for me — like outlining a stained glass window that will soon be filled with light. Coloring came next. I chose warm tones for his hair and eyes, and paired them with deep blacks and glowing golds in his outfit to emphasize the divine aspect. The white of the cape adds contrast, while the gem and sun motifs bring attention to his spiritual core. Adding shadows was the step where everything began to take depth. I focused on soft lighting to keep the atmosphere gentle but luminous. Highlights followed, especially in the hair, fabric, and staff, to make the image come alive with radiance. Lastly, the background brought everything together. I illustrated a warm glowing sun with beams that radiate through soft clouds, creating a sacred ambiance. The sky transitions from dawn pink to light blue, symbolizing hope and healing. > Comencé con un boceto limpio para establecer la pose del personaje y su silueta básica. Desde el principio supe que quería que se viera sereno pero poderoso, así que trabajé con cuidado su postura y expresión. El bastón, la capa y los elementos solares también los incluí de manera general para equilibrar la composición desde el inicio. > Una vez que el boceto estuvo definido, pasé al delineado. Utilicé trazos suaves y definidos para marcar sus rasgos y vestimenta. Esta fase siempre es algo meditativa para mí, como delinear una vidriera que pronto se llenará de luz. > El coloreado vino después. Elegí tonos cálidos para su cabello y ojos, combinándolos con negros profundos y dorados brillantes en su atuendo para resaltar el aspecto divino. El blanco de la capa añade contraste, mientras que los motivos de gema y sol centran la atención en su esencia espiritual. > Al agregar las sombras, la ilustración comenzó a ganar profundidad. Me concentré en una iluminación suave para mantener una atmósfera gentil pero luminosa. Luego añadí los brillos, especialmente en el cabello, la tela y el bastón, para dar vida y resplandor a la imagen. > Finalmente, el fondo unificó todo. Ilustré un sol resplandeciente con rayos que se irradian entre nubes suaves, creando una atmósfera sagrada. El cielo cambia de un rosado amanecer a azul claro, simbolizando esperanza y sanación. || |---| |

--- Creating this piece was both a challenge and a comfort. Although I haven’t been feeling my best lately, pouring my energy into this drawing reminded me of the joy I find in art. It’s like a small act of healing — for both the character and myself. > Crear esta obra fue tanto un desafío como un consuelo. Aunque no me he sentido muy bien últimamente, volcar mi energía en este dibujo me recordó la alegría que encuentro en el arte.
