I began the process with a sketch, building the basic proportions and posture of the character. This is where I experimented the most with poses, trying to find the balance between natural relaxation and a hint of his inner strength. > Empecé el proceso con un boceto, construyendo las proporciones básicas y la postura del personaje. After finalizing the sketch, I moved on to the line art. This stage is always exciting because it defines the personality of the character. Clean lines helped me solidify his expression, his hair, and the details of his clothing. > Tras definir el boceto, pasé al delineado. Esta etapa siempre es emocionante porque es la que define la personalidad del personaje. Las líneas limpias me ayudaron a reforzar su expresión, su cabello y los detalles de su vestimenta. Then came the coloring, where I carefully chose a palette that emphasized his essence. Blues and turquoise tones dominated, connecting him directly with the sea, while warm colors in the background created a balance between calmness and vibrancy. > Después llegó el coloreado, donde elegí con cuidado una paleta que resaltara su esencia. Los tonos azules y turquesa dominaron, conectándolo directamente con el mar, mientras que los colores cálidos del fondo crearon un equilibrio entre la calma y la vitalidad. Adding shadows was the next step, bringing depth and dimension to the artwork. This part made the character feel more real, allowing the light and darkness to highlight his serene but strong presence. > El siguiente paso fue añadir las sombras, que aportaron profundidad y dimensión a la obra. Esta parte hizo que el personaje se sintiera más real, permitiendo que la luz y la oscuridad resaltaran su presencia serena pero fuerte. Highlights followed, giving energy and brilliance to the piece. Small touches of light on his hair and clothes added life, reminding me of the glimmer of sunlight on the surface of the ocean. > Luego llegaron los brillos, que le dieron energía y luminosidad a la obra. Finally, I worked on the background, placing the character in a sunset scene. The fading light reflected on the water gave the piece an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, making the Ocean Healer feel connected to the natural world. > Finalmente, trabajé en el fondo, situando al personaje en una escena de atardecer.
