My favorite drawings

Every digital piece I make starts with a **sketch**, where I freely explore the composition and expression. For this one, I focused on balancing the character’s smile and the positioning of the drawings she holds, ensuring a natural and storytelling flow. Once I was happy with the sketch, I moved on to the **line art** stage. Clean lines are essential for anime-style pieces, so I carefully refined the outlines to keep them soft yet defined. The **coloring** phase brought the warmth and emotion to life. I chose earthy tones—browns, oranges, and gentle yellows—to create harmony with the wooden setting and to evoke a feeling of comfort. Adding **shadows** helped define the depth and lighting, emphasizing the folds of the clothes and the glow on her hair. I used soft shading techniques to maintain a warm atmosphere. Then came the **highlights**, one of my favorite parts. A few touches of light in the eyes, hair, and background gave the scene that magical sparkle anime art is known for. Finally, I painted the **background**, with soft gradients of light filtering through the window, blending nature’s greens with the cozy indoor tones. It tied the entire piece together beautifully. > Cada una de mis obras digitales comienza con un **boceto**, donde exploro libremente la composición y la expresión. En este caso, me concentré en equilibrar la sonrisa del personaje y la posición de los dibujos que sostiene, buscando que todo fluyera con naturalidad y contara una historia. > Cuando estuve satisfecha con el boceto, pasé al **delineado**. Las líneas limpias son fundamentales en el estilo anime, así que cuidé cada trazo para que se viera suave pero bien definido. > La fase de **coloreado** fue donde la calidez y la emoción cobraron vida. Elegí tonos tierra —marrones, naranjas y amarillos suaves— para crear armonía con el entorno de madera y transmitir una sensación de confort. > Al añadir las **sombras**, busqué dar profundidad y resaltar la iluminación, marcando los pliegues de la ropa y el brillo del cabello. Utilicé una técnica de sombreado suave para mantener la atmósfera cálida. > Luego llegaron los **brillos**, una de mis partes favoritas. Con pequeños toques de luz en los ojos, el cabello y el fondo, conseguí ese destello mágico tan característico del arte anime. > Finalmente, trabajé el **fondo**, aplicando degradados suaves de luz que entra por la ventana, combinando los tonos verdes del exterior con la calidez del interior.
