Hello everyone, my name is Lorentm and I’m a digital artist. Welcome to my blog, a space where I love to share my creative journey, my inspirations, and the characters that make me fall in love with digital art over and over again. Today I bring you a special piece that I created with a lot of enthusiasm and admiration.
This artwork is a fan art inspired by Zappit, also known as the electric rabbit from @holozing. I decided to reimagine the character in a humanized anime style, merging the essence of Zappit with the vibe of Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. It was an incredible challenge to capture the electric and energetic aura of this character while giving it a unique anime touch.
Zappit is a character that transmits power, speed, and energy, and for me it was fascinating to translate that into a dynamic pose, glowing lightning effects, and a determined gaze. I wanted to emphasize his bravery and the way he channels electricity as if it were part of his very soul.
I also want to share that I recently watched the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie, and it left me completely amazed. Being such a fan of this saga, I felt even more inspired to merge both worlds. A big thank you to @acidyo and @holozing for continuously supporting my work and giving me the chance to be part of this community.

Hoy les traigo una pieza muy especial que realicé con mucho entusiasmo y admiración.
> Esta obra es un fan art inspirado en Zappit, también conocido como el conejo eléctrico de @holozing. Decidí reinterpretar al personaje en un estilo anime humanizado, fusionando la esencia de Zappit con la vibra de Zenitsu de Demon Slayer. Fue un reto increíble capturar el aura eléctrica y energética de este personaje mientras le daba un toque único de anime.
> Zappit es un personaje que transmite poder, velocidad y energía, y para mí fue fascinante traducir eso en una pose dinámica, efectos brillantes de rayos y una mirada decidida. Quise resaltar su valentía y la manera en la que canaliza la electricidad como si fuese parte de su propia alma.
> Además quiero compartir que recientemente vi la película de Demon Slayer: El Castillo Infinito, y me dejó completamente maravillada. Siendo tan fanática de esta saga, me sentí aún más inspirada para unir ambos mundos. Un gran agradecimiento a @acidyo y @holozing por apoyar continuamente mis obras y darme la oportunidad de ser parte de esta comunidad.
In this artwork, Zappit appears in a crouched, battle-ready pose, holding a glowing katana. His rabbit ears rise firmly, channeling energy, while his sharp yellow eyes transmit both determination and intensity. The design of his outfit is inspired by Zenitsu’s kimono: a bright yellow haori decorated with triangular patterns, combined with dark pants and traditional footwear, all adapted to fit the anime version of this electrified rabbit.
The scene itself represents the moment before unleashing an attack, when the ground cracks under the pressure of his energy and lightning bolts surround his figure. It’s a visual way of expressing Zappit’s overwhelming power and agility, emphasizing that this is not just a rabbit, but a true warrior capable of dominating the battlefield.
> En esta obra, Zappit aparece en una pose agachada de combate, sosteniendo una katana resplandeciente. Sus orejas de conejo se alzan firmes, canalizando energía, mientras que sus ojos amarillos transmiten a la vez determinación e intensidad. El diseño de su vestimenta está inspirado en el kimono de Zenitsu: un haori amarillo brillante decorado con patrones triangulares, combinado con pantalones oscuros y calzado tradicional, todo adaptado para encajar en la versión anime de este conejo electrificado.
> La escena en sí representa el momento previo a desatar un ataque, cuando el suelo se agrieta bajo la presión de su energía y los rayos rodean su figura. Es una forma visual de expresar el poder y la agilidad abrumadora de Zappit, resaltando que no se trata solo de un conejo, sino de un verdadero guerrero capaz de dominar el campo de batalla.

To begin, I started with a rough sketch, where I focused on capturing the strength of the pose and the attitude of the character. The sketch is always the stage where I give life to the initial idea, and with Zappit, it was key to define his expression and posture.
Then I moved on to the lineart, carefully tracing the outlines to achieve clean and defined strokes. This step is essential because it gives the drawing its structure and helps me prepare the character for the next layers of detail.
Once the drawing was defined, I added the base colors. I used bright yellows and oranges to represent electricity and kept the traditional palette of Zenitsu as inspiration, blending it with Zappit’s natural energy.
After that, I worked on the shadows, adding depth to the folds of the clothing, the hair, and the ground beneath him. Shadows always give the character that touch of realism and intensity that makes them pop.
The next stage was the highlights, where I placed the glowing effects on the katana, the hair, and the lightning. This is the moment when the character truly comes alive, radiating energy.
Finally, I designed the background, cracking the ground beneath him and surrounding him with lightning that merges with his stance. The background reinforces the idea of unstoppable power and highlights the epic atmosphere of the scene.
> Para comenzar, hice un boceto inicial, donde me enfoqué en capturar la fuerza de la pose y la actitud del personaje. El boceto siempre es la etapa donde doy vida a la idea inicial, y en Zappit fue clave definir su expresión y su postura.
> Luego pasé al delineado, trazando con cuidado los contornos para lograr líneas limpias y definidas. Este paso es esencial porque le da estructura al dibujo y me permite preparar al personaje para las siguientes capas de detalle.
> Una vez definido el dibujo, añadí los colores base. Utilicé amarillos y naranjas brillantes para representar la electricidad y mantuve la paleta tradicional de Zenitsu como inspiración, fusionándola con la energía natural de Zappit.
> Después trabajé en las sombras, aportando profundidad a los pliegues de la ropa, el cabello y el suelo bajo él. Las sombras siempre dan al personaje ese toque de realismo e intensidad que los hace resaltar.
> La siguiente etapa fueron los brillos, donde coloqué los efectos de resplandor en la katana, el cabello y los rayos. Este es el momento en que el personaje realmente cobra vida, irradiando energía.
> Finalmente diseñé el fondo, agrietando el suelo bajo sus pies y rodeándolo de rayos que se fusionan con su postura. El fondo refuerza la idea de un poder imparable y resalta la atmósfera épica de la escena.

* Ibis Paint X program.
* Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
