Hello, or good afternoon, whichever works better (my worst intro ever)
This is my first post to this community and I hope I will be able to publish here regularly in the future as I am a music lover on top of everything else I do and I occasionally play the guitar. But in the meantime of my poor introduction, I am glad to be here.
Also, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post this here but I want to share with you an achievement (yes, I call it a personal achievement) as I am proudly a new owner of an Epiphone Les Paul Custom guitar. As far as I know about the history of this guitar from the musician I bought (I hope all facts check), this specific model was discontinued in 2012 and was custom modified by a shop from the USA (he told me the name and location of the shop but I forgot, of course). The guitar also has two new pickups and they sound so brilliant.
I haven't made a video yet with this guitar because I had bought it a month ago in the UK where it was imported and since I've moved out I was super busy until recently and didn't have the chance to play.
More sadness for me is that upon moving out, not everything I was able to take with me, which means I left the amp behind, an audio interface as well... so for now, it does work if I connect it directly (with a wireless TX/RX) to my audio monitors which have TRS input.
But more or less, the guitar is stunning, the sound is so clear and vibrant and the harmonics just sound so lovely! I could clearly hear the difference between setting it up between rhythm and treble even without an amp.
The guitar is just a joy to be played. As I had one of the cheapest Cort guitars, this is a huge upgrade for me. I feel so excited and can't wait to own a new amp to be able to use it at its capabilities. (except the part that I am a bit crappy player hehe).
Anyhow, I want to say to everyone from the Music community thank you for accepting me here and I hope to publish in the near future some of my guitar plays (as I have it now, a clean version) and to say to everyone publishing in this community that you are all amazing, I have been watching a lot of videos around here recently.
Farewell for now and stay safe!
