This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. Hello, hivers. Today, I was at a friend’s workplace and had to walk back along Avenida del Puerto. For those who aren’t from Havana, this is a long, quite beautiful street that runs alongside the channel leading into the bay in Old Havana. A long time ago, this was a very active port, but lately, it seems only training ships dock here occasionally. As a prime tourist spot, it’s filled with repurposed colonial fortresses turned into museums, well-kept parks, luxury hotels, and palm trees in concrete planters

You see, life is too much of a struggle just to sit down in a spot and wait for a better day, which may not come. I laugh when I hear people saying better days are coming; in fact, it has now become a daily song "most people, or we all, sing." Let me tell you the bitter truth: no better day is coming, oh! Sorry to disappoint you; you think I will say it the other way round. Let's be frank with each other: no better day is coming. You have to stand up on your feet, leave your comfort zone, and go meet the better day you're waiting for to come meet. Better Days Self doesn't like stress; she's tired of going to people. We planted it months ago, expecting more to grow but these are the few that were able to germinate properly, most of them died off, we assumed it was because most of the seeds where already dead before we planted them.

Hello, Hiver friends🤚 It’s Wednesday once again.. the day to share our delightful stroll stories. And today, I’ve got a walk full of history and greenery to share. Let’s embark on a journey through the heart of Iloilo City, where we walked down memory lane and discover the beauty that blends the past with the present. This walk was not only refreshing but a true celebration of the city’s rich heritage and its modern-day upgrades.

Millipedes (Diplopoda), and are included in the subphylum of multi-legged arthropods (Myriapoda). This animal is also called lelue or titinggi. Its body length is 150 mm, with a diameter of 10 mm, consisting of 30 segments, each with 2 pairs of legs, blackish in color with red or yellow legs. Its head is round. Its movements are slow and when touched it quickly rolls itself up. Eats dry leaves, sometimes also parts of living plants. Generally this animal looks for food at night, but sometimes it can be found wandering around in the morning.

I am God-fearing and it causes me great pain even to think about this topic. The main reason I started planting vegetables was to save in expense, Vegetables in the market are getting more expensive. Sometimes they are not fresh, and we still need to spend every day just to cook simple meals and to avoid stress because planting is my stress reliever. This small idea became a habit, and now it’s part of my daily life.

As I said before, I had not done static combos for several months, focusing only on my weaknesses and working on them to minimize them, I must confess that my progress has been quite slow, and maybe it will take some work to reach a high level, but I will achieve it, I will achieve it, in these combos I have included front lever pull ups that I am beginning to master, attempts at straddle planche holds on a fixed bar and as a little extra a little back lever, I have high expectations with the level I want to achieve and I will continue working on it, I hope you liked this post about my training today.

Today, I harvested some strawberries, rose petals, mint leaves and arugula. I've been pretty much living off strawberries and wild arugula. Honestly, I wish I had more fresh food to eat from the garden, but it's not even summer yet. Arugula is an early producing leafy green: I have also eaten some onion tops and a few other random produce. And some herbs like Oregano and Mint.
