I wanted to blend the texture of real juniper and the stone wall with an imaginary character. The gnome was given glowing magical eyes, a light in his hand, and a mysterious map to heighten the fairy-tale atmosphere. The main goal here was to evoke the feeling that a true spirit of nature lives right in an ordinary courtyard."

Хотів поєднати фактуру справжнього ялівцю та кам’яної стіни з вигаданим персонажем. Гном отримав світлі магічні очі, світло в руках і карту-загадку, щоб посилити казковість сцени. Тут основна мета — передати відчуття, що у звичайному дворі живе справжній дух природи.
