I took this photo during a walk on a sunny summer day, when I sat down on a wooden bench made from a tree trunk sawn in half, in the middle of a park.
This unusual beetle immediately caught my eye — metallic-silver, with a long body and graceful, distinct stripes on its back. As I found through a search, it was a beetle from the Buprestidae family (probably from the Buprestis genus), known for its shiny armor.
It looked as if it was covered in silver and harmoniously contrasted with the old texture of the wood beneath it. I was struck by this moment — the simplicity and perfection of nature coexisting with human creation.
It froze and didn’t move, like a model saying, “Photograph me,” sitting on the cracked wooden board, as if deliberately showing its natural beauty and quiet majesty.
I took this photo because it is like the embodiment of that beauty we often don’t notice, but which is always near us. While someone rushes past, I stopped to capture this moment. Because it is precisely in such small things that true inspiration is often hidden.

Цю фотографію я зробив під час прогулянки сонячного літнього дня, коли сів на дерев’яну лавку у вигляді розпиляного пополам стовбуру товстого дерева, посеред парку.
Мені одразу впав в око цей незвичний жук — металічно-сріблястий, з довгим тілом і витонченими, чіткими смужками на спині. Як вдалось знайти в пошуці це був жук з родини златок (ймовірно, з роду Buprestis), відомого своїм блискучим панциром.
Він виглядав так, ніби був вкритий сріблом, і гармонійно контрастував зі старою фактурою дерева під ним. Мене вразив цей момент — простота і досконалість природи, що співіснує з людським творінням.
Він застив та не ворушився, ніби та модель, що просила "сфотографуй мене", сидячи на потрісканій дерев’яній дошці, ніби навмисно демонструючи свою природну красу та стриману велич.
Я зробив це фото, бо воно як втілення тієї краси, яку ми часто не помічаємо, але яка постійно поруч з нами. Поки хтось поспішає повз, я зупинився, щоб зафіксувати цю миттєвість. Бо саме в таких дрібницях часто ховається справжнє натхнення.
