Standing on the balcony of my friend's apartment, I gazed at the sky, which was rapidly changing before my eyes, as if someone were painting colorful patterns with a brush. To the left — a soft veil of white clouds, like a light mist over the river, and to the right — a mighty thundercloud rising high into the sky, like a natural tower guarding someone’s domain. Its contours were so clear and grand that it seemed to be breathing.
In the foreground — residential buildings and a road leading past green spaces. To the left spreads the powerful Dnipro River, with small islands already overgrown with trees — a peaceful corner amid the urban landscape. The cars below, like ants, bustled along their routes, while I stood still in calm, gazing at the grandeur of the sky.
I took this photo because it seemed to me that at that very moment, nature and the city were speaking the same language. It was a moment of harmony — a contrast between the elements and civilization, between light and darkness, between motion and stillness. I wanted to freeze that instant, to preserve it, so I could return to it in my thoughts and once again feel that peace and majesty.
