Hello my dear needle and thread lovers, hello beautiful Needlework community. I hope you have started the week with all the desire to work and expose the best of your inspiration. At this time I wanted to share with you as all I do my projects and ideas. This time I wanted to participate by showing you a work that has given me sleepless nights but also a lot of joy. My daughter Rut and her classmates already finished high school, they spent five years studying with dark blue pants and brown shirt, however they want that special day instead of wearing pants to wear a skirt, so for me it is an honor to make the skirt for my daughter. Rut wanted a board skirt because one of her classmates had a picture of her on her phone, which she shared with my daughter. I went to buy the fabric, thread and zipper. This work was a real odyssey, it was the first time I made this type of skirt, I spent four days working hard to make the boards to the exact size, what a headache it gave me when I measured it and saw that it did not fit the waist, but well the important thing is that every effort has its reward and the important thing is that I finished it and it was beautiful and I was satisfied. >Hola mis queridos artistas amantes del hilo y la aguja, hola hermosa comunidad Needlework. En esta ocasion he querido participar mostrandoles un trabajo que me ha dado noches de desvelo pero tambien me ha traido muchas alegrias. Mi hija Rut y sus compañeras ya culminan la High School, pasaron cinco años estudiando con pantalon azul oscuro y camisa marron, sin embargo ellas quieren que ese dia tan especial en vez de usar pantalon usar falda, asi que para mi es un honor hacerle la falda a mi hija. >Rut quería una falda de tablas porque una de sus compañeras de clase tenía una foto suya en el telefono, que compartió con mi hija. Fui a comprar la tela, el hilo y la cremallera. Este trabajo fue toda una odisea, era la primera vez que hacía este tipo de falda, estuve cuatro días trabajando duro para hacer las tablas a la medida exacta, que dolor de cabeza me dio cuando la medí y vi que no se ajustaba a la cintura, pero bueno lo importante de todo es que todo esfuerzo tiene su recompensa y lo importante es que lo termine y quedo hermoso y yo quede satisfecha . Then fold the fabric inwards, adjust with hand stitching and stitch on the outside. >Para la pretina corte una tira de 75 cm de ancho por 15cm de largo, para justar cosi a mano luego por la parte de afuera pase costura recta. Despues doble la tela hacia adentro ajuste con costura a mano y pase costura por fuera.
