For my part I have been busy but happy with my sewing work, just this week and so far this week I am full with things for my daughter Rut's high school graduation. But I have exactly two weeks trying to figure out something to wear for that special day, it's not every day a child graduates, so my outfit can't be everyday, or ordinary. I thought of a three quarter sleeve blouse with an applique at the neckline that resembled a blazer.
When I started this job I was super excited because I was going to look as beautiful as the student. I went shopping and when I saw the beverly fabric I said "this is the fabric for the occasion".
As I was going through the process of my work I was a little nervous because it was my first time doing this outfit, I spent three days going to bed at 1 and 2 o'clock in the morning. God what a pain in the neck, when I saw that it did not fit me tightly at the waist, wow or when I realized that in the bust area I felt like I was hanging, thanks to patience and me being very good allies I was able to achieve my goal.

Pero tengo exactamente dos semanas tratando de imaginarme algo que ponerme para ese dia tan especial, no todos los dias se nos gradua un hijo, asi que mi outfit no puede ser cotidiano, ni corriente. Pense en una blusa manga tres cuarta con una aplicacion en el cuello que se asemejara un tipo blazer.
>Cuando comence hacer este trabajo estaba super emocionada porque iba a estar tan bella como la estudiente. Fui de compras al ver la tela beverly dije " esta es la tela que va con la ocasion".
>Mientras mi iba transcuriendo el proceso de mi trabajo estaba un tanto nerviosa porque es primera vez que hacia este atuendo, pase tres dias acostandome a las 1 y 2 de la mañana. Dios que dolor de cervical, cuando vi que no me quedaba ajustada en la cintura, guao o cuando me di cuenta que en la parte de busto me sentia como ahorcada, gracias a que la paciencia y yo somos muy buenas aliadas pude logre mi objetivo.

Step 1
I took my measurements of the basic blouse, put them on a piece of paper on which I made the transformation, making some picks, from there I took the front part.

>Tome mis medidas de blusa basica, las palsme en un papel en el cual hice la tranformacion, haciendo unos piquetes, de alli saque la parte delantera.
Step 2
I proceeded to cut the back, joined the back to the front and sewed the front seam.

>Procedi a cortar la parte trasera, uni trasero con delantero y pase costura
Step 3
I put on the blouse to measure it, I realized that it didn't fit my body, so I proceeded to adjust it more in the sewing part.

>Me coloque la blusa para medirmela, me di cuenta que no me quedaba ajustada al cuerpo, asi que procedi a ajustar mas en la parte de costura.
Step 4
Once I made the adjustment, I proceeded to glue the sleeves and close the sides.

>Una vez que hice el ajuste procedi a pegar las mangas y cerrar los costados

I folded the fabric, with the help of a tape measure, measured 7cm long, zigzagged it and then sewed it straight. After sewing I realized that it was too tight in the bust area, with the help of a needle I unpicked the fabric.

> Doble la tela, con la ayuda de la cinta metrica, medi 7cm de largo, le hice zigzag luego costura recta. Despues de coser me di cuenta que me quedaba muy apretada en el area del busto, con la ayuda de una aguja descoci.
Step 6
When I realized that the bust area was so tight that it felt like it was pinching me, so I cut about 3 cm, then I sewed the seam.

>Al darme cuenta en la parte del busto me quedaba tan apretado que sentia que me afixiaba, asi que corte aproximadamente 3cm, luego pase costura.
Step 7
For the cuffs area cut a piece of fabric 4cm wide by 10cm long.

>Para el area de los puños corte un trozo de tela de 4cm de ancho por 10cm de largo
Step 8
After cutting the fabric in the cuff area
I stitched each cuff, then sewed them into the cuff area of the sleeve.

>Despues de cortar la tela del area de los puños
pase costura acada uno,despues los cosi en el area de los puños de la manga.
This job was an adventure with all the difficulties, even though at times I was dying of despair, I enjoyed the journey. I hope to be in tune with the moment.
