Hello my dear artists.
I am very happy about this contest. To begin with I want to tell you that all the epochs have been beautiful, we can say that from the decade of the 40's to our days all have marked a milestone in history, from the social environment to fashion.
In particular I wanted to make my participation to the 60's, of course with my Barbie that always accompanies me. When I was a little girl my parents always talked about that era because that was the time of their youth. I was very attracted to the mod style, with its mini skirts, dresses with straight lines, high boots, flared sleeves, the hippie style where peace and love stood out.
The hairstyles were a spectacle in the beehive style with exaggerated volume with their respective headbands.
Music groups like the Beatles, and the Byrds. Singers like Elvis Presly, Sandro, Trino Mora, among others.
Without further ado I got a vertical striped fabric and some objects that I got to use as accessories.

> Muy felixz estoy de este concurso. Para comenzar quiero expresarles que todas las epocas han sido hermosas, podemos decir que desde la decada de los 40 hasta nuestros dias todas han marcado un hito en la historia, desde el ambito social hasta la moda.
> En lo particular he querido hacer mi particicipacio aluciva a la epoca de los 60, por supuesto junto a mi Barbie que siem`pre me acompaña. Que porque esa decada? muy simple cuando era una niña mis padres siempre conversaban a cerca de esa epoca ya que esa fue la de su junventud. Me llamaba mucho la atencion el estilo mod, con sus minifaldas, vestidos con lineas rectas, las botas altas, mangas acampanadas, el estilo hippie donde resaltaba la paz y el amor.
> Los peinados guao un espectaculo al estilocolmena con volumen exagerado con su respectiva cinta para el pelo.
> Grupos de musica como los Beatles, y los Byrds. Cantantes como Elvis Presly, Sandro, Trino Mora, entre otros.
>Sin mas preambulo consegui una tela de rayas verticales y algunos objetos que consegui para usarlos como accesorios.
The first thing I did was to take the measurements of my Barbie, from there I took the molds, pinned them to the fabric and cut them out.
> Lo primero que hice fue tomar las medidas de mi Barbie, de alli saque los moldes, los ajuste con alfileres a la tela y procedi a cortarlos
After I cut everything, I hand sewed the shoulders, the sleeves, the back
leaving a 3cm opening. When I closed the sides, I measured the dress to my Barbie, I realized that it was too wide, I had to adjust the seam again, wow, I tried three times.
>Despues que corte todo, cosi a mano los hombros, las mangas, la
parte trasera dejando una abertura de 3cm. Cuando cerre costados, le medi el vestido a mi Barbie, me di cuenta que le quedaba ancho, tuve que volver a ajustar costura, guao hice tres intentos,h hastha quhe logre la caida dek vestifdo.
I grabbed the selvage at the neck, sleeves and hem. Then cut out an appliqué, which I pinned at the bust part, then hand stitched.
> Agarre el orillo en el cuello, mangas y ruedo. Luego corte una aplicacion, la cual ajuste con alfilieres en la parte de separacion de busto, despues le pase costura a mano.
For a moment I couldn't find a way to fasten the back zipper, the buttons I had were too big, but I remembered I had a magic zipper, I cut it to 1cm wide, and proceeded to make a seam.
> Por un momento no conseguia con que hacher el cierre de atras, los botones que tenia eran muy grandes, pero recorde que tenia un cierre magico, lor corte a 1cm de ancho, procedi a hacerle una costura.
For the earrings I had a chain to which I cut some metallic balls, I took a pin with the help of a pliers and cut it in two pieces, with the hot silicon gun I glued the pieces of the pin.
>Para los aretes tenia una cadena a la cual le corte unas bolas metalizadas, tome un alfiler con la yuda de una licate lo corte en dos pedazos, con la pistola de silicon caliente pegue los trozos de alfiler.

I took two long balloons and put them on my feet, from there I covered them with hot silicone and waited for them to dry. I started to paint them with purple nail polish, then I realized that the paint was dry, I couldn't find what to do, until God turned on the light bulb, red cold paint, ready, problem solved.
> Tome dos globos largos se los coloque en los pies, de alli los cubri con silicona caliente, espere que secaran. Empece a pintarlas con esmalte de uñas morado, luego me di cuenta que la pintura estaba seca no encontra que acer, asta que Dios se me prendio el bombillo pintura al frio roja, listo problema resulto.
I wanted to do a backcombed hairstyle, I started by taking out a piece of hair, adjusting it, then in the back I took another piece of hair and adjusted it with a hook, then I made a braid. With a click I made a small arch where I placed the hair so that it would be in the shape of an arch, the front piece of hair I adjusted it under the braid with a ponytail.
> Quice acer un peinado tipo cabello cardado, comence sacando un trozo de cabello, lo ajuste, despues en la parte de atras tome otro trozo y lo ajusto con un ganco, luego ice un trenzado. Con click ice un pequeño arco donde coloque el pelo para que quedara en forma de arco, el trozo de cabello delantero lo ajuste por debajo del trenzado con una coleta.
Despite my physical exhaustion, as I was working on this lovely project from 6 in the morning until about 5 in the afternoon. In the moments that my ideas got stuck, I would stop to relax and have lunch, then I would go back to work and so on until I finished, I love how beautiful it is. I thank God that the internet was very good for editing my photos in canva.
> A pesar de mi agotamiento físico, ya que estuve trabajando en este precioso proyecto desde las 6 de la mañana hasta cerca de las 5 de la tarde. En los momentos que se me atascaban las ideas, paraba para relajarme y almorzar, luego volvía a trabajar y así hasta terminar, me encanta lo bonito que ha quedado. Doy gracias a Dios que el internet fue muy bueno para editar mis fotos en canva.
