Happy New Year Dcity Citizens,
Let's start 2021 with some positive vibes. In this post i will be helping 4 smaller players with a little advice and 50 Hive worth of cards. Half of this comes from me and the other half comes from another large player, who want to remain anonymous. You know who you are and i thank you for doing your part.
It's funny that you told me that your contribution was long overdue, but at the same time it's the only one i have ever gotten. Kudos to you Sir!
The first player who i'd like to feature is @sayee.
This is what his city looks like now:
This city is pretty much in order, but i noticed the 1 research center and as i always encourage smaller players to go for income before education, i thought i'd give him a nudge in the right direction.
I have added Weed Dispensary's and 2 apartments. At current market prices the dispensary's were 42.48 hive and the 2 apartments 8.72 hive, for a total of 51.2 hive. Sim income doubled from 87 to 174, or increased with 0.4176 hive per day at current sim price. This is an annual yield of 152 hive and a stunning 297% APR on the 51.2 hive investment.
Here's the end result.
The 2nd player whom i have chosen is a new player called @blackheart1.
This is what his city looks like now:
I have sent him ad agency's, worth 38.8 hive and 2 apartments worth 8.72 hive. To take care of the remaining unemployment i have given him another 3 luxury homes worth 4.05 hive, which brings the total to: 51.57 hive.
Total income increased from 12 to 108 sim or 96 sim per day. This amounts to 168.19 hive per year at current sim prices, which gives us a whopping 326% APR on the 51.57 hive investment.
Here's the result of out labor:
The 3rd player has grown his city already a bit, but could still use a little help.
This is what @martind1337's city looks like now:
I added 8 weed dispensary's and 2 apartments for again a total of 51.2 hive. The reason these buildings create much more income in this city, is that there was a shortage of workers here before and those buildings were not creating any income.
Sim income increased from 2097 to 2242, an increase of 145 Sim daily or 254.04 Hive per year with today's Sim price. The APR would be 496%, but that's flattered to a large extent, because of the unemployment levels at starting point.
This is what the city looks like now:
The last player to receive his late X-mas bonus is @youloseagain, for being a positive force in the Dcity discord lately.
This is his city in his current state:
Here i decided to go with hotels and some luxury homes, to see if these could yield similair or even better APR's than the methods used above.
I sent him luxury homes, worth 12.24 Hive and 8 hotels worth 38.8 Hive, for a total of 51.04 Hive. Total Sim income increased from 487 to 579, an increase of 92 sim daily or 161.18 Hive at today's Sim price. This comes to an APR of 315%, slightly better than the cities above here, if you take the unemployment results out of the equation.
This is the end result:
These newbie cities are yet another example that you don't need deep pockets in order to create a profitable city. And all the fun you'll have playing the game is not even included in the APR.
I'd like to thank @onealfa , @rollandthomas , @thegoliath , @ecoinstant , @jrcornel , @trumpman and everybody else who supported my earlier Dcity Helper posts and i hope you'll keep doing so now i started the series up again. Your votes matter and help me give away more cards on each new Dcity Helper post!
