I have to confess that capturing the sun in a photo can be quite challenging, especially if you're trying to do so with a mobile device. Argh!
I almost gave up after trying several times to capture a picture of the sunrise on Saturday morning. On my way back home after a night event at the church, I spotted the sun rising above a building not too far away. It was as if the sun was sneaking out from behind the roof, peeking its golden head out to greet the world. Lol. I think this is just the right word to describe it. Hehehe.
The way it peeked, or rather, peeped from behind the building, caught my attention, leading me to remember those comical illustrations of the sun in children's books and cartoons. You know, the ones with a big smile and waving rays? Lol. It brought a smile to my face, and I felt a surge of happiness sweep through me. It was like the sun was sending me warm wishes for the day!
Well, I couldn't resist capturing the moment, and boy, it was tougher than I expected. The light was intense, and the glare made it hard to get a clear shot. I was getting lens flares. I ended up rotating my device 360 degrees before I could finally capture these photos you see here. Lol.

A camera set or a mobile phone with sharp camera quality would have done an awesome job of capturing the sun safely and effectively. Well, I did the best I could with my device and later did some editing on a few shots.
Adjusted Brightness to - 100 and now we have a sunset. How do you see it?

Adjusted Brightness to +41.

That's it for my sunrise encounter. I actually had fun doing this. ๐ I hope you like the photos. Do let me know which struck you the more.
Thanks for coming around and do have a pleasant day.
