Hace ocho años, yo entré por primera vez a la universidad e hice un grupo de amigos, con los meses, que se iban a transformar en mis a mis amigos más cercanos. Ellos son dos, estuvimos juntos durante unos tres años estudiando y luego tomamos caminos diferentes, porque la universidad no nos dio una buena cara y nos decepcionó muchísimo. De nosotros decidimos alejarnos y solo una continuó. Yo terminé estudiando, diseño gráfico y mi otro amigo, a día de hoy, también está estudiando lo mismo. Pero ese amiga que continuó, lo logró y después de ocho años, por fin se graduó como ingeniero. > Today I'm feeling a little consumed by nostalgia, because yesterday, Friday, one of my best friends finally graduated from college with a degree in engineering. Yo definitivamente siempre que la veo recuerdo nuestros primeros días en la universidad, y como pensábamos que los tres nos íbamos a graduar juntos, pero las vueltas que da la vida son increíbles. Digamos que en estos últimos cinco años todos hemos tomado caminos totalmente diferentes, pero seguimos manteniendo en la misma amistad. Y ayer, que fue su graduación, estuvimos asistiendo a su fiesta de celebración, que hizo conjunto con su hermano, que también se estaba graduando de lo mismo. Esta fiesta de celebración se hizo en un local llamado Villa Miranda, que es un sitio bastante lindo, y yo siento que es bastante familiar. > I definitely remember our first days at college every time I see her, and how we thought the three of us would graduate together, but life takes incredible turns. Llegamos como a eso de las ocho de la noche, y estuvimos como hasta las tres de la mañana, literalmente fuimos los últimos que nos fuimos. La verdad, la pasamos muy bien, yo fui junto con mi mejor amigo que es el que también estudia diseño gráfico y junto con mi novio también porque siempre estamos juntos y no podemos estar separados. Pasamos toda la noche hablando, recordando algunos momentos viejos, haciendo chistes de lo mismo de siempre, tomando un poco de ron con refresco. Y no las que yo tenía mucho tiempo que no tomaba. Aparte estaba tomando antibióticos, así que sentí como la gloria, poder tomar otra vez. Incluso hubo un momento de la fiesta en el que estábamos sentados hablando, mientras en el teléfono se estaban reproduciendo unos capítulos de Naruto, porque mi amigo y yo estábamos dando cátedra de esta serie. > We arrived around eight at night and stayed until about three in the morning; we were literally the last ones to leave. There was even a moment at the party where we were sitting there talking while some episodes of Naruto were playing on the phone, because my friend and I were giving a lecture on that series.

Y bueno honestamente me siento muy contenta por mi amiga, también siento que a pesar de qué hemos tenido un montón de años que nos graduamos del colegio, seguir estudiando a estas alturas de la vida es difícil, yo no lo subestimo, creo que es algo muy complicado, porque la situación de cada uno son un mundo totalmente distinto. Creo que lo que más agradezco de todo es que sigo manteniendo esta amistad con esta persona. Después de todo lo que ha pasado, sé que siempre van a estar conmigo y no puedo pedir mejores amigos, la verdad. Siento que me puse muy sentimental, escribiendo esto. Yo realmente quería contarles qué tal me encontraba que había ido en esta fiesta, pero terminé dando una reflexión un poco más profunda.
