Estos días han sido uno completo locura, y se nota que estamos terminando el trimestre porque no hemos parado de hacer cosas. Me he perdido un poco, ya que necesitaba un par de días de desconexión, no tenía muchas ganas de escribir, y hoy que salí y estuve haciendo cosas en la calle, regresé con mejores ánimos y simplemente decidí volver, contándoles un proyecto muy grande que hemos estado haciendo. Este proyecto básicamente es la elaboración de un mural en la pared de la universidad, que inicialmente pretendía ser parte de nuestro servicio comunitario, pero resulta ser que simplemente es la evaluación final de una materia llamada técnicas de representaciones gráficas. > These days have been completely crazy, and you can tell that we are finishing the quarter because we haven't stopped doing things. I've been a little lost, as I needed a couple of days to disconnect, I didn't feel like writing, and today I went out and did things on the street, came back in a better mood, and simply decided to come back and tell you about a very big project we've been working on. This project is basically the creation of a mural on the university wall, which was initially intended to be part of our community service, but it turns out that it's simply the final assessment for a subject called graphic representation techniques.

Este mural, la verdad se habló hace un par de meses y pensé que se iba a quedar en una propuesta, pero no sé en qué momento se decidió que se iba a hacer, creo que fue un poco inspirado en que podía hacer servicio comunitario y teníamos muchas ganas de salir de eso, pero digamos que fuimos un poco engañados y al final no se va a poder hacer eso. Aún así se comenzó a trabajar en el mural, hicimos unos moodboards, de mejores ideas, y se sacaron esta paleta de color, que es como con amarillo verde, un poco de morado y rojo. Y básicamente a cada uno de nosotros se nos asignó una sección del mural para que pudiéramos hacer algo con los colores que nos tocaron. Yo hice lo mío en un día, la idea en Digital y luego fui a hacer los bocetos de esto mismo, que me tomó otro día para luego pintar, que eso fue exactamente lo que hice hoy. > This mural was actually discussed a couple of months ago, and I thought it would remain just a proposal, but I don't know at what point it was decided that it would be done. I think it was partly inspired by the fact that I could do community service, and we really wanted to get out of that, but let's say we were a little misled, and in the end, it's not going to be possible. Even so, we started working on the mural, we made some mood boards with the best ideas, and we came up with this color palette, which is kind of yellow-green, with a little purple and red. And basically, each of us was assigned a section of the mural so we could do something with the colors we were given. I did my part in one day, the idea in Digital, and then I went to do the sketches for it, which took me another day, and then I painted it, which is exactly what I did today.

Esta semana la gran mayoría estuvo haciendo su parte con respecto a la pintura, pero yo me estaba concentrando en otras cosas y no fue hasta hoy sábado que pude ir a hacer mi parte de la pintura. Yo estaba muy segura de qué no me iba a tomar tanto tiempo a hacer lo mío, y es por eso que no quería Matarme en hacerlo rápido. Tuve un poquito de ayuda para hacer una parte del fondo, luego yo estuve haciendo los demás detalles y mi novio me ayudó justo al final cuando estaba pintando de rojo. Mi parte está casi lista, quisiera presentarle esto moral, cuando ya esté todo totalmente listo, pero Como ya mi parte está en un 90% lista, me falta muy poco, pues quería contarles un poquito de este proceso y de este avance. Realmente mi parte es como muy inspirado en algunos elementos de diseño y unas dos flores que son algo que a mí me gustó mucho y que Siento que se veían bastante bonitas. Espero que les haya encantado de conocer esta experiencia que me está volviendo loca, nos leemos pronto! > This week, most people were doing their part with the painting, but I was focused on other things and didn't get around to doing my part until today, Saturday. I was sure it wouldn't take me that long to do my part, so I didn't want to rush through it. I had a little help with part of the background, then I did the other details, and my boyfriend helped me at the very end when I was painting red. My part is almost done, and I'd like to show it to you when everything is completely finished, but since my part is already 90% done, I just have a little bit left, so I wanted to tell you a little bit about this process and this progress. My part is really inspired by some design elements and two flowers that I really liked and that I think look quite pretty. I hope you enjoyed learning about this experience that is driving me crazy.
