Hello guys, this is Lucky Ali, and welcome back to my Splinterlands social media challenge. Before jumping into this post, please visit my previous social media challenge post on my Hive blogs. This time, I am not going to upgrade the monsters because I have another important work, and that is opening the gladius pack and getting gladiator Monsters. Do you know? The gladiator monsters are very powerful, and now you're getting a chance to use those cards. If you use some special summoners that allow using one gladiator monster, there is also a ruleset that allows using gladiator monsters. So in this, we should not miss the opportunity to use this particular card, and you know I have many summoners that have the ability to use one gladiator monster. If you're new here, then you don't know about that. But if you are an old player, then you very well know about the gladiator monsters. It is specially made for the guild brawls, but now it is also available in the ranked battle, so it is a great way to utilise them.
If you want to earn more merits, then you have to follow a simple formula that never miss is single brawl. If you don't know about brawl, then it is a type of battle that is the same as ranked battle. You have to join a guild and stay active there to be eligible for the reward. Play Guild regularly, and time by time spend merits to get more gladiator monsters, max out the levels of those gladiator monsters so that your earnings can increase. This looks easy, but everything is impossible if you are not giving your efforts. That is why you have to show your consistency and efforts. Anyway, here I'm going to open gladius packs. Let's do it.
Opening Gladius Case Packs
So I've spent a total of 52,000 merits, which I earned from my personal guild and also from the battles. And you can see in the screenshot below that if you spend 52,000 merits, then you get 26 gladius case packs.
Then you go to the opening Packs section, and there you can open multiple cards at once. So I opened all 26 packs, and from those packs I have received some great monsters, including some rare and epic, and also some gold foil cards. Gold foil cards are special because when you use a gold foil card, you get some extra reward in the battle. That is why they are gold cards.
So I have opened all the Cards, and you can check the card that I got from this pack's opening. The cards are listed below. Just check them. Remember, one pack costs you 2k merits. Some players have a lot of merits, but they are not even utilizing them. It is a simple process to buy the Gladiator monster that I already shared here and also shared multiple times in the past. If you are not utilizing your merits out of laziness, then it is not good. It is not bad to have some extra powerful cards in your deck. If these cards were paid, you would go after them. So we don't care for free things; however, calling them free is not an accurate word because you are putting your efforts and spending time to get them.

So you can see the three Pages, and here I have gotten the Isgald vorst, Alva the crusher, Relenor cleaver, Bertrol gobson, Hugo strongsword, Whistling damon, Krash wanderford, Cutter brieze, Gorth, Katrelba gobson, Marisol contuma, Palidon rakk, Ajax lightfoot, Helmet kharafax, Kotriphus bayne, Cutter brieze, Katrelba gobson, Isgald vorst, Edith emberstar, Chimney wallstop, Alfredo, Liza fox, Quora towershead, Captain katie, Witch of warwick, Orella abadon, Sarius, and Trapp falloway. There are three gold foil cards: Cutter Brieze, rare gold foil, Katrelba Gobson, common gold foil, and Isgald Vorst. Sadly, I have not got any legendary monster here, but this collection is not bad because it is even powerful than the newly launched legendary monsters. The good thing is I have multiple epic cards in this list and gold foils too, so this collection made my day, and I am satisfied with this reward.
Gladiator Cards are important for the deck's strength
Summoners with conscript ability allow you to use one gladiator monster, and you know I have already collected enough conscript ability summoners, which is why this is very beneficial for me. Also, I am a regular player of Guild Brawl, and Guild Brawl is also a great way to earn merits and SPs. Those merits you can use to get more gladiator monsters. And SPS is the governance token of the Splinterlands economy, and that is valuable too. In the alt season, SPS can explode up to $0.10 or maybe more, which is why you have to be careful and focus on accumulating as much SPS as you can. Because no one knows when the game flips. You have a live example of Leo, it is even crossed the price of Hive coin. So important thing is supply and demand. There is no doubt Hive has a demand, but when you see layer 2 tokens like Leo and sps, they have limited supply, so with the passing of time, the tokens become more valuable.
Conclusion
You can see I have got 26 gladius cases by spending 52k merits that I earned from guild brawl and battles. From those packs, I got 122 total cards. Did you like the rewards I got?
